You missed an important part about Perry Saturn. In 2004 he was shot while stopping a woman from being raped by two guys. This led to his pain killer addiction and homelessness.
No matter how many times I’ve heard their story, the Von Erichs story never gets easier to listen to. Such a tragedy. On the plus side Kevin is doing well. He’s a survivor.
Jeff Hardy was given countless opportunities by companies to stay clean but he kept getting into trouble. I just hope that he’s okay and try’s to keep himself on track
He drove drunk and high tons of times. To say he's irresponsible isn't doing it justice. If he'd hit someone you loved while he was drunk driving, would you be so quick to forgive? I have no respect for that fool.
I was a huge Jeff Hardy fan and supported him through the first time he relapsed. However he just kept relapsing and doing the same fucking mistakes that it got to a point that this man I was a “fan” of was given so many opportunities, chances, and wealth, that I never will and keeps fucking up. Why would I continue to support someone like that? I couldn’t anymore.
Scott’s death had nothing to do with his past addictions. It had to do with living life as a wrestler and what can go wrong having a hip replacement. I found solace in the fact that he didn’t fall back.
Andre’s size was a big contributor to his health later in life but his extreme addiction to alcohol sped his decline up. He’d drink cases of beer in a single hour.
A honorable mention would be Miss Elizabeth. Ok, it wasnt really a decline, but this woman was Hollywood material. Dieing too early of an overdose was definately not the kind of end she deserved.
Being the "bicycle" in every locker room in the 90's while having Chris Candido as his BF. Getting in n' out of prison due to her DUIs and killing off an old man... She deserves less than nothing.
Watching the story of Scott Hall made me so sad… the demons he was going through and the promoters that took advantage of him during his state… man I cried so much… so heartbreaking… he was always my favorite since day one.. miss him
it wasn't a choice he had he vocal cords damage during a match when some one drop a knee on his throat during a match so that's how high his voice can get
Even though Jeff Hardy have won world titles in the past, He could've won a lot more. It's unfortunate that it was him that got in his own way. He is a legend throught & through though.
DDP has saved so many wrestlers lives through his lifestyle changes and yoga programs, he really is someone who deserves more recognition outside of the wrestling world
Yokozuna could have made this video. As his WWF career progressed, is weight kept climbing. That was despite Vince trying to get Yoko to lose some weight. Some states wouldn't clear him to wrestle because of how hug he was. Eventually WWF let him go. After the Legends of Wrestling show, Yoko was wrestling in the UK and died there. At the time he was losing some weight. Rick Rude could be on the list as well. After the match in Japan against Sting where he suffered the career ending back injury, Rude retired as an active wrestler and died in 1999. At the time of his death, Rude was training for a return to wrestling.
Sad Decline? Chris Benoit: From one of the best wrestlers in the world to a man who was virtually erased from history. And all of this is his own fault. His only defense is his permanent head injury, which (guaranteed) meant he didn't know what he was actually doing.
Chris Benoit? There really is no greater downfall then his. His name is blacklisted from not just WWE but pretty much all of wrestling forever. His son is also collateral damage for what he did to
Scott Hall has won every WWE title back in the 1990s but he never won a world heavyweight title he should’ve gotten it before he passed away. It’s sad because he never got the chance to be the face of the WWE everybody would’ve been proud of him if he had won the world heavyweight title.
And sunny had multiple multiple multiple opportunities to the point she dosent have wwe rehabilitation to get clean program I think they decided to cut it after multiple tries
Yep. She made the decision to leave medicine studies behind to follow her boyfriend in wrestling, and that snowballed into her essentially ruining her own life.
@@portagasdace21117 I'm talking about her entire downfall. Sure, she would have been a cheater without the fame, but she wouldn't have fallen nearly as far.
Sunny is the opposite of Jake. Jake got better through hard work and love from his family and friends, whereas Tammy pushed everyone away and destroyed her own life and worse, the lives of a family.

Jake fully sober and in control of his demons in the late 90’s could have easily been a mankind like figure. He was if anything way ahead of the curve with his borderline heel/face personality

I also think Magnum was hurt by Jake Roberts looking so much like him, some people may have assumed they were the same person working under a new gimmick.
I was setting up our booth at a Comicon in San Antonio and Jake The Snake was walking around chatting with people before the doors opened. He came up to me and we talked briefly before he hit me up for painkillers. It was an honor
how about Dino Bravo ... shot several times by some hitmen in his home after loosing his job in the WWF and turning into cigarettes smuggling from USA to Canada
2:05 Scott Hall was NEVER underrated, people always loved him and if it wasn't for his personal issues he would've been world champion for sure. Point is; we always knew how awesome he was, that's not the definition of underrated, he was properly rated 🤷♂️
It makes me sad two of the four on my Mount Rushmore are here. Scott Hall, and Jake Roberts. Fortunately Jake is still with us and turned things around.
Tammy Sytch had everything going for her : pretty face, great body. Could talk on the microphone, ring announce and do color commentary. The only thing that destroyed it all, was her addictions to drugs and alcohol, and now her reputation is tarnished forever. It's so sad to see what Tammy has become, but she has nobody to blame but herself.
Perry Saturn was awesome with John Kronos as the eliminators. He was never a good singles wrestler. Total elimination was the best tag team move ever. Pretty sure Kronos died from addiction.
for Chyna, you are wrong... She never got over her breakup with Triple H... Especially since they were engaged... and above all He will go out soon after with the boss's daughter... 😒

DDP is a fn angel on earth!
DDP needs a humanitarian statue of honor in every wrestling hall of fame.
DDP is the benchmark on how a human should act towards others. What an incredible guy.
Guy is a legend. Enters the ring late in life, gets success, understands the human body better than many doctors and then goes on to help others.
One can make a strong argument that DDP is among the top 5 most influential persons in the history of the pro wrestling industry.
That's no lie, he got tired of watching everyone die too young and wanted to do whatever he could to save as many of his friends he possibly could 💎
