Now we know why Royal Enfield have came so far. Such passionate guys.
This is so true. The guys are passionate about the brand but also passionate about motorcycling in general
It's extraordinary where they are compared to just 10 years ago. It's a very exciting time to be a RE fan!
It certainly is. The twins were a game changer for the company
I just added a 2017 Bullet 500 to my garage. I love it and now I want RE to build a new Classic/Bullet 650!
I think your wish may come true sooner rather than later. Enjoy the Bullet 500 though, so much character in that bike
@@BikerTorque That will be great! Then I’ll have one of each!
Yes, the 500 single is a totally full of character. I love burbling along on it.
Classic 650s have already been spied testing. Might launch later this year .
@@surajbanerjee6850 Thats good news!
Great character. Love BGR's happy spirit.
👍
I will live and die by the Classic 500. Hands down one of the most beautiful and most iconic bikes of this generation. Sad many people slept on it.
I rode one a few years ago and really did enjoy it. Makes me think I should try and pick up a second hand one some day.
How good is it when the decision makers ride and listen to there customers. Well done RE 😎👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Couldn't agree more!
Works both ways, first off his job is to run a business. Second people who only have experience with one company and one product stultify product and market development, if he had a previous experience owning and riding the competition he would be more capable but if I appointed a CEO I couldn't care less about him riding, I don't expect the CEO of Airbus to be able to fly a commercial airliner.
@@jimtitt3571 you wouldn’t see any mum and dad pilots buying an airbus with there hard earned money but point taken 👍
I admire their business model. Great company.
They are kicking a lot of goals Chewie.
The guys passing by, at the back at 3:07 and 3:33 😂😂
It certainly was a bit of a party.
My god it's gonna be awesome, I'd like to have a bullet 500 classic. ❤
That would be cool
Arha!!! Hima-layan. See!
lol, told you.
Sounds like a new Scram 450 may be next.
I reckon you could be right, and I think we are going to see some big updates on the Interceptor and Continental GT starting with Showa suspension
Fingers crossed. But proper Scram, something like Caballero.
Other brands are available. Though you wouldn't think so.
There are plenty of other videos coming up from us with other brands, such as BMW and Ducati, it’s just that there has been plenty of things happening with Royal Enfield at the moment, and, well, I simply just like the brand so you’ll continue to see Royal Enfield content over here.
@@BikerTorque I'm over here in Wales where it's RE from breakfast to bottom and I'm sick of the bloody things!
@@BunyipToldMe thanks for watching anyway
Keep the RE content flowing crew! Haters will still watch and comment
Please no battery motorcycles. We need bigger and more dealers in the USA.
Pretty sure we will be seeing more EVs from all brands. Not sure what’s happening with the dealer network in the US
You guys are pronouncing Himalayan the way Indians pronounce it (and considering it’s a Sanskrit word meaning “abode of snow”, I think Indians would know best).
Emphasizing the “a” between the “l” and “y” is actually a common mispronunciation among Anglophones.
Thanks
but he actually says it the other way ? he just has an accent !!! the jury is still out luv .. let’s find the answer !!! 😅
lol, I don’t think so Chris.
Where’s the KX 838, debut 2018 at EICMA as concept but REALLY needs to be produced for the masses
Not sure they will ever produce a v-twin but happy to be proven wrong
Regarding the pronunciation of the Himalayan - it's quite simple, it's named after the Himalayas and pronounced accordingly, hence the aa sound in both words - Himaalayan, and the Himaalayas
Thanks for sharing
It’s a nice bike good value ,but the shorter riders are missing out on the seat hight ,Honda had the same problem when the brought out the 300 so Honda looked at this seat hight problem so the brought out the LSL a lower version with the same engine I think Royal enfeild could do some research in to this I think there sales would rise if they did this doing this the lean would disappear too not every one is bothered about the sump clearance they just want to reach the ground ,especially in Asia
You never know, we may see a lower version
I respect that sweet spot middleweight market focus, but I really want to know will they release a 650 ADV?
Can’t answer that one, I think Will will see some kind of Scrambler 650, not sure about an ADV
I have been looking into a Suzuki 650 v-strom and during that i discovered the RE450 and really digging the look. Any help is appreciated, what should i consider before making a decision on which one??? please help :D
Sorry can’t comment on the V-Strom, haven’t ridden one as Suzuki in Australia don’t reply to emails, but I’d be very surprised if it wasn’t a decent bike judging by it’s popularity. The Himalayan 450 is excellent, we’ve just done a review if you’d like to check that out, it’s a bike I’d happily buy.
@@BikerTorque will check it out if i haven't already. literally seen all utubes in the 450 for the last week. Anything you would encourage me to consider/think about the 450 before i decide?
@@firstjayjay think of the range, different amounts of fuel in each one. V Strom is more asfalt oriented, Himalayan is more off road oriented. Still very nice both machines
@@firstjayjay Hi, I have owned a Suzuki Vstrom 650 for nearly 4 years and have done 47,000 kms. It is comfortable, very smooth, long range "road" bike. It is okay on smooth dirt roads but not really rough ones. It is a bit top heavy and can be difficult to move about on uneven ground. I love it. Hope this is of some help.
