The comments Eric had made, the "horrific" ones, were made a bit before the NEXT pog champs in which everything blew up. I don't think the timing of your story quite works out. Furthermore, if this was not her adhering to chessbae's extortive demands then not come out publicly at the time about it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but yet again I am pretty sure Eric mentioned that publicly before Alexandria.
I don't think Alexandria is a terrible person but the events looked about as bad on her as Eric's drinking ramblings did on him.
