Mintinbox visited George Lucas Skywalker Ranch - November 4th, 2011

Mintinbox.net was created back in 2003, its main goal was, and still is, to gather and to make each French speaking Star Wars collector meet, either on the website, its forum or through conventions and other events.
Since then, and through meetings and events, we started to get friendship, and through them to reach opportunities. The latters allowed us to share with you the best we could think of.
Mintinbox.net got the opportunity to go to California for the great re-opening of the Rancho Obi-Wan. It was a must-do for us to visit the hall of the Saint Grail: the Skywalker Ranch - creative lair of George Lucas and his teams. It was the same kind of trip as the comic road trip of the friends in Kyle Newman's film FanBoys.
It was a kind of achievments for the French speaking (or not) fans to look at the pictures we brought them back. It was on the nice sunny afternoon of the 4th (yeah, it had to be on the fourth!) of November that we drove to the famous 5858 Lucas Valley Road for a visit we cannot forget.

Actually I think although they reside on the ranch, they work for the whole county, but Lucas finances 50% of the department and the county or city the other half.

Great footage, it truly captures How BIG the ranch is and thank you for showing the footage from the beginning i had NO idea of How Big or how long it took to get there. I guess George does need his privacy..lol. i dont think he lives there He might work there but not live there its like a theme park Wally world you know i reckon he lives in some distant place where no one knows where the fuck it is......any way i like your video so much thanks again!
