Shoutout to BMW of Fairfax for having me this one and another special edition are for sale. Unfortunately I made a mistake of putting too many miles on this car ruining my relationship with the dealer nevertheless stay tuned for future BMW content. Again 2 of these are for sale I still highly recommend this dealership despite my mistakes.
So what exactly do the three “special edition” packages get you? All I see is carbon grill surround, carbon wing & and the ugly stripes down the side. Certainly not worth the extra 8K. Edit.... I see the M Performance exhaust is figured in there, but that only accounts for about 2K and can be ordered separately
You can’t even get a M3 for that lol. A xdrive comp is over 90k… that’s a huge price difference. Especially considering the m340 has better aftermarket support.
@@98ws6m6cvert What are you talking about? I never said what price you can get a M3 for . But if you are talking about the G80 . Yes , you can actually pick up some used G80 specs in that range . Even a new lower end spec G80 you can get for 10 grand more . And that’s my point. I’m not spending 77k on a non M car when I can have a used one for the same price or a new one , for a little bit more . And the M340 has more aftermarket mods ? I can tell you don’t have a M3
@@xXGETR0CKEDxX yes I’m talking a g80. Why go for something that’s not somewhat comparable. I looked at used g90s and it was not worth the price. Out of warranty cars over 60k miles. I rarely found any certified and if they were may as well buy new lol. So that was my point why buy older and used just to say you have a M car. I get the hype about them, but a m340 is faster than some of the old M cars lol. I don’t get it 😂.
@@98ws6m6cvert 60K miles ? You must have found one the most high mileage G80s in the world . The most high mileage G80s I have seen are in the 20k range . Most people don’t purchase new vechiles in general . So it’s not about buying used just to say you have a M . M340s are very nice . I had one as a loaner . I have driven them . But it doesn’t compete to driving a M car . I know , because I own a 23’ G80.
@@xXGETR0CKEDxX I live in Texas so the mileage makes sense lol. Explain to me why having a G80 is so important. I’ve driven both… don’t see the point if I can make a m340 faster. I don’t go to the track or COTA near me. So what’s the point? Cost isn’t the problem btw I’ve owned 100k cars like my TRX. Just don’t see the point with the g80 when you can make the M sport car faster.
BMW stored all of the port installed stuff for this thing no one wants. Like come on… I wanted my Mperformance exhaust not this… couldn’t get it because BMW blocked it out for these cars.
Tbh yeah it is I would just like you get a regular M340 w/ mpe. This one does have the adaptive dampers, carbon exterior, M performance decals and different wheel design.

The wheels are included with standard adaptive dampers that’s about it. All 2024 special editions are in this specific color combo as well.

That’s crazy tbh the M Performance exhaust is the only thing I would get with the carbon bits that about it or go aftermarket carbon to keep MSRP down
