Great video brotha! Let’s keep getting dialed 🔥
Great teacher and a great student makes a perfect match!!
"While there has been a lot of speculation surrounding my support for another tour, I want to make it very clear that as long as the best players in the world are playing the PGA Tour, so will I."😂😂😂😂
You should know where you club head is at at impact and releasing the head a little earlier should give you more room
How do you get a lesson with Bryson??? Can I get one? I’ll literally fly anywhere your at!! Please
Ok I'm off work next weekend can you help me on my driver and irons😂😂I'm serious lol
Amazing insights, Hogie!!! 🔥
Bryson is a truly great golf instructor, here and on other golf social platforms
Great info with a pro helping you on how to build a better game
Thank you for sharing. Love the insight.
The rod in the belt hooks is a fab idea and this works for me too!
Bryson, thank you so much for your content.
Sorry that the Masters didn't work out well for you. Don't take it too hard, we all have a bad day in the office now and then.
Carry-on your recovery and you will be back fighting for the top again soon.
Awesome content, looking forward to more. Currently working on a few similar swing issues so this helped a lot.
Thanks Bryan! Glad it helped!
So glad I watched this! Amazing content!!
Thanks Kyle!!
I used that belt buckle drill this weekend actually, super helpful
excellent content. Bryson is a natural teacher!
Bryson love what you do. Is there any way you could have a mic and camera on you😮 during the live tournament? You could post it on UA-cam
Great video, Hunter! Your sequence looks so much better.
Props to Bryson for doing this - gonna head to the range asap to try this out
Very similar to what I have been working on. I've tended to collapse my leading leg, while also dragging my trailing leg which resulted in a sway. Going with the thought of holding my left hip stiffer and the feeling of straighter leading leg has helped significantly with my irons. it feels like im not moving or transferring my weight forward but its just less than before which was too much.
Now ive had to adjust slightly on my driver swings to feel like im rotating around my right hip to get better launch angle. always a work in progress.
Keep grinding on it!
Thank you both . The feeling of left elbow to right field was huge for me and a big difference around the green chipping and pitching . Better compression and higher flight and more spin . Thank you for sharing this information , much appreciated
Sweet!! Glad it helped!
@@HoganMolthan Interesting video....What teacher do you recommend in the DFW area, that teaches these simplified swing concepts and doesn't charge crazy prices? I think Bryson's caddie knows what he's talking about but he may be busy this weekend in Augusta...
Keep grinding bro. I had a eureka moment last week if I just focus on getting to a full finish downswing automatically sincs up my driver is more in play then in houses, cars, pools etc...😂
Bryson, this is an awesome drill. Thanks man...
Great vid are you going with the same sort of one plane sort of swing like Bryson ?
Let’s go!! 🔥
I'm completely new to golf and I literally just go to the range every single weekend and hit between 50-100 balls with a wilson stiff shaft 7 iron which I bought for $4 at a thrift store. I used to whiff 80+% of my shots but I'd say that now >50% go the direction I want them to and the misses are getting less atrocious. I feel like until I've got this down there's no point in getting more clubs and certainly not actually playing on a course yet. I feel like having that good base will make the game more enjoyable as a beginner, and in the meanwhile I still have fun going to the range. Always good to see someone else's struggles and solutions for a different perspective
I'm buying an old set of ping eye2 irons and I'm going to see if I can thrift a golf bag and a driver. Sure, I *could* spend a lot of money, but I'm a college student, and beginners should focus on technique over tools anyways. Looking forward to going out on the course in a few weeks maybe. Only problem is it's 100 degrees every day, but hopefully that won't be too bad with some shade
I do the same thing. It’s really hard to slow down the hips when they are fast. I try to feel more pressure on my back foot through the down swing in an attempt to lag the hips
Bryson is the man!
Keep grinding brother
For sure bro!!
Great video! When Bryson said to pull down on the club at the start of the downswing, like doing a lat pull-down, that was awesome for me visually! Made perfect sense! He is such a stud. Keep up the great work my brother!
Does he mean let your arms go down first in the down swing?
The way I understood it, he wants you to pull down with the hands keeping that “L” shape with the arms and club which will give you that snap, or lag, when coming down on the ball. I’m no teacher but to me that really helped. I tend to early release and flip the club at the bottom giving me no compression and very inconsistent strikes. I’m really working on getting my body to continue through the swing instead of standing up in the downswing. Hope that helps brother.
The hips dont lie
This was literally my exact problem hips firing way to fast. Had to feel like I was all arms to correct it
haven't seen you swing a golf club for a long time and this is the best I've seen from you, looks more natural. Great job!
Thanks Dominic! Working on it!
Thank you! Yeah my swing needs a lot of work for sure, but that only means there’s more room for improvement!
Great content and love the idea of eliminating variables. Are you considering one length clubs?
Should I??
Good job Hogan and Bryson! What turns me on is: don`t continue working on an idea if it does not work after 5 shots in no way! Then try something else.
this is gold, wow
Thanks Timmy!
“A lot of people don’t know how to fix problems”
I’d say in my case, it’s not knowing what the problem is, other than knowing that there IS a problem and I guess that would be the case for most people, fixing movement problems is pretty intuitive, it’s identifying the problem in the first place that is difficult.
Good video 👍
yup, the head dropping was causing major problems.
I like this, but classic case of the student trying to analyze his own swing, while he’s got one of the best in the world instructing him.
My biggest question is the arms falling is a literal statement? Butch mentioned Tiger feeling his arms dropping in front of him, but I cant seem to find clarification on if thats literal.
What other playing pro does these things for friends, others? None!!! Kudos Bryson!!!
More tips from Bryson please
Stay tuned!
The most repeatable swing on earth is "Iron Byron", the machine. Just watch that machine to see how mechanics can greatly improve us humans.
💚
Think Positive
This is the exact problem I have as well
Hopefully this video helped!
Bro if see this I think you just try to release your head first like Dustin Johnson , it’s gonna be a split second from when you see the golf ball to when you make contact . Make your normal swing and just before you make contact I guess like 75% on your down swing release your head at your target
I like that!
What is hogans playing handicap ??
Around scratch
@@HoganMolthan
Nice bud 👍
How ironic, I’m 50ish and still a 12 handicap……nailed it
Turn pro
Ask Bryson where I can get that hat
Imagine if I could work with Bryson for a week. He’d gain me so much speed 😭 desperate.
He’s a pretty good coach!
Moe Norman
Moe's head dropped several inches on the downswing! As did Hogan!
Less talking more listening and doing
Hogan is not getting his weight to his left side at the end of the backswing. Partly because his hip turn is too much and the weight stays back and he has rotate the hips and move. the weight to the left DURiNG the downswing. That is hard to time. with the arms
coming down. All pros shift their weight during the last movement of the backswing.
The editing on this video makes my eyes hurt. How about just showing the lesson in full.
Yeah same! Jeez! Dumb editors
Get Hogan a new glove bro...
Not a bad idea…😂
a repeatable swing is an athletic swing and visa versa.
Man Bryson is just nice dude unlike Keopka. His a dick. Bryson needs to simplify his short game mindset though. I diff think putting, chipping not as much pitching are feel. If he got his short game solid as his long game man he would start rolling off majors. I would love to see him go on a tear for the next 10 to 20 years.
"While there has been a lot of speculation surrounding my support for another tour, I want to make it very clear that as long as the best players in the world are playing the PGA Tour, so will I."😂😂😂😂😂
Does it really have to be the Saudis?
Your biggest problem you talk more than you listen. Good luck
Who?
Yeah communicating during a lesson is so dumb
Talking and analyzing from within is great. Keep talking you both 🏌♂️☺
@@ce5347 lol I was just trolling. I agree with you
Why just the video look ridiculously edited.
zero information
This kid needs to talk less man
Could the student possibly talk more? Ridiculous lesson taking.
Talk less listen more
