  • This video tutorial goes through the steps to creating an exploded axonometric drawing using Grasshopper for Rhino. This tutorial uses basic grasshopper nodes and no prior knowledge of grasshopper is needed to follow along. The key steps in this video can be found below:
    00:00 - Introduction
    00:48 - Opening Grasshopper
01:10 - 'Move' node to move the geometry
01:55 - Adding a 'geometry node' to the move function
03:40 - Controlling the movement amount using a slider and vector node
06:00 - Inversing a value to change its movement direction
08:00 - Applying these controls to other pieces of geometry
08:40 - Simultaneously controlling geometry with 1 slider
11:00 - Incrementally spacing the elements of the exploded drawing
14:14 - Appling this to the entire building
14:58 - 'Baking' the geometry into Rhino

how can I make a GIF out of it, to get some moving visualisation, there is a "record" type in rhino, how does it work with the moving parts together with grasshopper?
