@@Dizzwizz thats the point of the crossover, pure fanservice and a balance. Its better to think that Kengan characters gets a Buff just for being on the baki universe, the same that baki characters Will get a downgrade to Fit on kengan universe
In the perspective of a crossover, i like the basis of scaling of
Baki = ohma
And everyone else should be scaled in relation to how they relate to those two in their own verse.
Though from what i understand of kuroki, yujiro scales higher to baki than he does to ohma.
I think the thing that makes Kuroki cool is the *lack of hype* he generally got. Like, this martial arts master appeared out of effectively nowhere, defeated everyone he came across and left. He didn't indudge any of the impurity or baggage that most of these maniacs picked up along the way, he is basically Ryu from street fighter taken to his logical extreme as a peerless fighter who knows who he is, but that he can always become better.
I think Yujiro would absolutely respect that. Kuroki is absolutely true to himself and is a true warrior. We literally seen what happened to Doppo, Yujiro took the time to experience everything that very human martial artist had to offer then *ate him* figuratively in front of an entire audience. I imagine the same would happen here, because of who Yujiro is he would never be defeated on screen but also because he is quite literally a monster who exists above all laws. Given the crossover logic it would be entertaining and I feel that Kuroki would be able to actually wound him just because it would be on brand for him to defy expectations at this point.

Dude Kengan characters literally have punches that can Destroy mountains. And catch bullets with their hair. You are thinking of only Baki and His dad. The other characters are on a much lower level compared to the top 2 in Baki. With this perspective. Kengan is actually on a higher level with you take out Baki and his dad.

Compairing feats is one thing. Yujiro also has a bunch of broken passives like his Aura making people instinctually afraid of him and Yujiro being able to appraise your health and see your weak points just by looking at you.

Im fairly certain Yujiro would convincingly beat Kuroki but that doesnt take away anything from him. He's still one if the best in the kenghan universe currently, probably number 2 after shenlong. Also I feel baki is not far from him either. The film is fan service so its more about the fun of it all but Baki is defintely comparable to kuroki, feats and skills wise.

Kuroki has the greatest power you can have in a fighting manga: Anti-plot armor. That's what the Devil Lance actually does.
He literally fights every single character who should have been able to beat him for the sake of the story and still won. Pretty easily, too. He beats the established main rival, he beats the power of love, he beats the guy who was set up to be the final boss, AND he beats the main character. All in one run. Dude is Him.

I believe that Shen wulong vs Yuichiro hanma would be more appropriate. Still it would be nice to see if Yujiro could replicate the Devil Lance technique, like he did with Kaku Kaioh, before shifting back to his "strength only" style
Heres the difference between these 2 yujiro knows every martial art but prefers to brawl vs kurogi is a master of 1 martial art hes studied that for so long not even doppo would match this but it comes down to jack of all trades vs master of one
Would be a mid diff for yujiro. Shen is probably the only kengan character around yujiros level. Kuroki isn’t stopping earthquakes with punches nor has shown anything near yujiro’s sheer might and speed. Shen on the other hand is closer. We don’t know shens full power yet either so it could possibly be close depending on what he shows.
The earthquake feat doesn't make any sense. nothing happened like earthquake when he goes all out against a opponent.

The only reason why Kegan’s fighters even have a chance against Baki’s fighters, is because the show runners have to somewhat even them out, so they can do the crossover. Otherwise all the Baki characters would run right through the Kengan characters.

What I imagine their fight would be is Yujiro fighting his usual way of brute strength, but to no avail against Kuroki's fortress-like stance, forcing Yujiro to actually use martial arts, with Kuroki's defense and attack still going strong but slowly falling against an ever stronger Yujiro with Demon Back included, essentially making them equal with Yujiro on top once he gives his all and uses his back. A battle to be remembered between the Devil and the Ogre who found in each other the challenge they've always seeked for, and a partner to respect for the few times they collide again in the future.
It'd be interesting if Yujiro deflects the demon lance with a finger similar to how he trained to deflect a harpoon gun point blank range with a finger.
What I'm getying from this comment section is just how power scaling is just dumb. What does it matter if they scaled Kengen characters up or Baki characters down? It's just a cross over. If a fight just ends up as a stomp without it'll just be like watching one of those fan made videos in youtube. We all know Yujiro is going to win. But how would they make it fun and entertaining, is the question. Not who will win and how easy. That's how Baki or the Kengen series works. Baki is wacky dinosour stance and sword arms, while Kengen tries to incorporate actual real life techniques and takes some liberties to make them fun. Being pissed about this being close to that in power is just... ok dude
baki does showcase many real life techniques, they're just EXTREMELY exaggerated to the point of being unrealistic from all directions. kaku kaioh's shaori is a good example
They're discussing without authorial buffs for fun cause it's fun to pit other battle manga characters built for mind games against each other.
The interesting thing is going to be Will the devil lance going to be able to go through Yujiro's skin.
The one true measurable speed I can think of that the ogre performed was the arrow catching. He visited an old friend who had a crazy strong bow, 200lb pull strength iirc, and ogre convinced him to shoot him with the bow. The ogre was able to close the distance and even stop the arrow from ever leaving the string right after the string was released. That shows not only raw speed, but impossible accuracy and control.
Okay let’s be real here the USA as a country openly submits to yujiro. They were just trying to please both audiences cause we know what yujiro can do to solid steel and asphalt. To any human that isn’t his seed you’re getting murked worse if he likes you 😅😳😨

Just fyi (and i know yujiro would win) but kuroki also has metal and asphalt feats though, if i remember correctly he made holes to a metal wall of a ship, and when he timed rei he cracked the stone wall with his finger tips. I think yujiro's absurdity scales more than just metal and asphalt

i gotta completely disagree with that last statement. It wouldn't be closer than people think. Yujiro would laugh at kuroki and grape him for thinking he's something important or strong. Do you think Kuroki could defeat a dinosaur? not at all. Shen wulong would lose to Yujiro but it would be a lot closer.
Problem is Yujiros written as unbeatable. Baki (and likely Jack soon) being the only ones able to make him experience any kind of real joy out of a fight. (Baki and him "Flirting" with each other, etc.)
If he fought Kuroki he would laugh, if he fought Wulong he would probably recognize him as one of the people to give him a real fight. Much like Wulong to the rest of Kengan.

I'm gonna be honest, the end pissed me off. I knew it was going to end on a tie (cuz ego), but Jesus I never expected it to be that bad
Perhaps the statement of them being close in the crossover manga may have been true considering it takes place in the past when yujiro was still green but the crossover special takes place several years later. Kuroki is stronger than before but yujiro is leagues stronger.
The best way to see how the fight will go down between them is to compare their latest fights in the timeline. Kuroki fought ohma in the tournament and yujiro fought baki in the father son fight.
While kuroki did win against ohma (who is slower, has less techniques, has a worse transformation than baki), it wasnt a clean victory and kuroki believed he still has a long way to go to be where he wants to be as a fighter. While yujiro beat baki some what smoothly and considered their fight a good one because he was able to use so many moves that would kill normal fighters easily against baki.

May be because kengan is new manga where a lot of characters are not even introduce in anime if you read the manga and second the characters who are introduce have not got the chance to show all their powers. It's like you comparing first baki managa and all the feets included in it. I will not be surprised if kengan character comes out in future who can easily surpass Yujiro

Pretty sure Kuroki would definitely wound Yujiro. Likely even severely but only due to Yujiro's personality (Kaiou Kaku situation... hello now I think seeing Kaku vs Kuroki is VERY close).
But he would very quickly adapt, start being more serious and almost certainly win shortly after.
Kuroki is in that weird category of someone way stronger than Yujiro assumes a 'puny mortals' might be, but still that one league below Yujiro himself.

Ok now do Hayato Furinji (History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi) vs Yujiro Hanma. Now that would be an even more interesting topic. Keep in mind that there are a decent amount of Master class characters that can compete with Yujiro.
I agree with this i read the Manga the Masters are all Yujiro level on this one here and have crazy feats. Kengan however i don't even think can touch Yujiro and i read Omega. I need more feats from Kengan thats early in before i can say this. Its like OP man needed more time and now clearly shows he multiversal.
History Strongest Disciple actually have Yujiro level Masters which i think can give baki verse a run for their money. Ppl slept on this one and im surprised you mentioned it. The head master though might be Yujiro limit and for those who aint read this manga please rad it they have crazy feats unlike Kengan debatable ones.
So i agree i think the Masters can actually Give Yujiro a fight in this anime but everyone under the Master Class in this Anime Yujiro stomps. Masters from this one could solo 98% of Baki's verse but Yujiro and Musashi, Would be extremely difficult even if they come out on top. I think Yujiro and Baki would be the hardest to beat especially the Baki that fought Yujiro to a close edge.
I am actually someone knows about this because its not usually mentioned. Toast you you sir. However Kengan needs more time to actually even think about a cross over because ill be honest i don't think no one from Kengan is fighting Yujiro. I also think Kuroki is a bit under Baki. I think baki beats Kuroki mid difficulty which is still impressive but the better fight for Yujiro is Shen Wulong.
Until i see feats though i rather they wait for this cross over to make it at its best where characters have reached more feats otherwise Yujiro is basically top dog even in the cross over. But baki and Yujiro would be top dog in that cross Over until then.
History's strongest disciple Kenichi actually is Op especially Hayato he is busted and can run on water take a missle attacks with minimum damage and basically uses 0000.1% of his power for extreme feats. I believe he shuts down Yujiro if Yujiro beats the others which are difficult because this anime is different.

Me being the crazy Kengan weeb that i am , i understand that this crossover was made with overall popularity and hype in mind, not with strict and physics accurate power scaling in mind. End of the day, it was made With and For fun.
And it was. I personally had no complaints with the movie.
If you really wanted to compare the most powerful and closest competition, then be actually accurate. This ‘Kuroki & Yujiro’ dynamic only exists because other broken mfs like Katsuya or Wulong weren't or aren't revealed in the anime yet, and wont be soon. It only exists because the creators pushed this narrative.
By all measures and lore hype, the best rival/equal to Kuroki would be Kaku Kaioh. One is THE ultimate Japanese warrior while the other is THE greatest Chinese martial artists. Both have reached pinnacle of martial arts, not actual physical stats. Both are considered the 2nd most powerful warriors of their respective verses.
Yujiro is someone who has the most possible skill, talent, genius and drive to be the best he can be. Yujiro is the ultimate combination of genius and hard work. To everyone I see in these comments acting like Baki doesn't stand a chance, friendly reminder that characters in the Baki verse can reach speeds much faster than anyone in Kengan Ashura. I've been watching some of the show in Kengan and nobody has yet to reach speeds of Mach 1 where as Baki himself can. Nobody is taking on an elephant as big as Godzilla (Yujiro has and Baki in this arc is scaled close to Yujiro because the arc that comes in this one is actually the one before where Baki fights yujiro to a draw) Baki himself has fought and beat an armed samurai who can cut through anything. And who could forget the time he got Oxygen poisoning (which would kill anyone in Kengan outright because "Void Palm" is instant death) he survived for at least a week, fought in a tournament and beat his first match while poisoned, recovered and got into a fight with Yujiro which he lost but was able to survive and wasnt at least Hospitalized. The point being is Baki Characters are ridiculous and its like a Goku Vs Superman Argument. I will continue watching both. But from what I've seen from these anime Baki Characters can move and perceive things at mach 1 speed minimum. And Kengan not so much. Not to mention on top of this Baki himself is shorter Than Ohma, but he weighs more. Ohma weighs 185 lbs and Baki is 220+. That weight class alone puts Baki at a complete advantage not to mention he can move so fast the naked eye can't track his speed. (Literally season 1) And now we are at what? Season 4? Season 5? Yeah Baki has only got stronger and faster and the only people who can actually beat Baki are his Father and Pickle the Caveman. I mean come on guys, Baki scales way too high for Kengan.
Fun fact: theirs a special reason as to why kuroki beat agito quite interesting it was rarely mentioned in the Ashura manga but most ppl probably skipped

Just finished watching it. Was pretty good. Kind of don't like this collab as I'm sure it will all be about power level or whatever but I loved how the fights were all in a way perfect matches.
I LOVE Kengan, but it's VERY difficult to imagine anyone being an Equal to Yujiro

Baki broke the scale of being overly ridiculous, tried watching the first episode cuz of the hype, but couldn't continue due to it's outrageous characters. World's strongest man being stronger than a 6 ton Mammoth and stoppped Earthquake without any super powers. Yeah, I cannot watch shit like that lol

Even if they didn’t put that long narrator explanation, Baki characters should still be able to low diff kengan characters 😂 in fact the fight would be much shorter because there’s no explanation to every technique and will just be a quick win for the Baki crew

In universe the likes of Emperor Kaku and Baki himself have held their own against the Ogre. So far in the Kengan anime Kuroki has hardly shown any weaknesses besides the typical mortal kind. He bleeds but, he never falls. I'd say it would be pretty damn close.
Really wouldn’t be close.. yujiro mid diffs and that’s being generous. Is kuroko stopping earthquakes with punches? Don’t think so. Shen is the only character so far in Kenyan that is on the same frequency as yujiro. And personally I don’t think he’s winning. I like Kenyan more than the Bali manga. But yuhuro is just too much.

A feat like that doesn't make you a great fighter. If that were the case Retsu would've never lost to some of the guys that beat him. I don't know much about the manga but, from what I've seen in anime no one comes close to beating Kuroki. He even caught Baki's fist who just recently finished a very close fight against Yajiro.

The baki verse is LEAGUES above the kengan verse, there's no "it's close" it's a one sided stomp.

Including Katsumi who was thought to be an absolute joke before that. Jack Hammer and Baki did as well. Who else hates that at the end of the crossovers the dudes from baki great prison battle arc show there faces when that arc ain't even gonna happen.
Yujiro wins, but it'd be a fucking awesome fight, and Kuroki would be one of those opponents that Yujiro actually shows respect to, especially cause Kuroki got to where he is through sheer determination and drive to perfect his art. Yujiro's well-aware that he's a genetic freak and that it's a huge part of the reason he's unbeatable, hence the reason he wants Baki to grow to his level, being the only person sharing his genetics and having a chance to reach his level.
Just starting the video cause I actually have seen these shows and enjoy them to different capacities, Baki less so but it's an interesting series of shows that exists. Even seen the old Baki stuff randomly. Kengen Ashura I enjoy more, thanks to a love of MMA the sport and martial arts in general. But these pieces of fiction definitely exist to me. Tho neither are a thing I'm hyper passionate about, yet enjoy.
All that said, I hope both our hosts and viewers understand outright that crossover stuff like this is inherently made to promote both things in a positive light. Crossovers generally are not made for folks that watch with an eye for "powerscaling". Not that I detest powerscaling inherently. But fiction like this will seldom please folks that want things to play out as literally as they think these fights should based off how they understand characters's strength to work. Which is cool. But I ramble all this only to illustrate that I hope we view these fights thru a lens of wanting to compare fighting skills when assumed the powerlevels get set to match the other universe. Cause it's makes this crossover fiction more enjoyable that way, I feel.

If they wanted to, they could've easily had Yujiro support Kuroki's comment, saying both Bako & Ohma can't beat Kuroki (or himself) and have Yujiro showing more respect to Kuroki with some random boast before leaving with him for an off screen fight

In terms of AP, Baki and Kengan are relative, falling into the Multi City Block to Town Level ranges. Speed wise Baki beats Kengan due to the Hitless blow and Yujiro being able to dodge lightning, though if you’re able to really highball the scaling with Rei then Pre Initiative users might be able to deal with Baki characters’ speed
Skill wise I’d say Kengan characters are generally more skilled than Baki characters due to them having more emphasis on the styles and techniques in a more logical way

Baki fans have never read Kengan Ashura to completions nor have they read Kengan Omega. Literally the Kengan characters for the most part are on par with Baki characters and have similar feats outsides of Yujiro stoping an earthquake. Pretty sure the creator of Baki would also agree considering the crossover, also being in the Baki art style and universe.

Kuroki: _somehow blitzes Baki and proceeds to yap about_ "you can never land a punch on me"
If it weren't already obvious that crossovers aren't consistent, that should've clued you in.
Yujiro Vs. Shenlong would definitely be a more entertaining and closer fight tbh.
I understand why they had to put Yujiro against Kuroki for now (since they had to work with whatever both franchises' anime had by then), but Yujiro vs Shen and Kuroki vs Musashi would make a lot more sense. It's ok if the casts are equalized somewhat (despite the salt of Baki powerscaling zealots), but Kuroki being hinted to be far above Baki while Yujiro (Father vs Son fight arc) being far above Ohma is very questionable in conditions where Baki ≈ Ohma and Yujiro ≈ Kuroki. It seems that they're very heavily banking on Part 2 with the same cast, so we'd have to wait a long time to actually hope for a crossover with more appropriate top-of-the-verse matchups
The problem with comparing the two is it is in Baki' s style to be ridiculously over the top with power scaling versus Kengan seemingly a little more reserved about it.
I think ultimately it would be hard fought with Yujiro ultimately winning. I couldn't see Gensai winning but perhaps it would be a draw if they wanted a more mutually respectable outcome to both series?
I wonder what people would think if the power scaling in both respective universe's where more grounded?

I know it’s not likely but I like to think that they will buff kengan characters so they will have a better chance against Baki characters because i feel like that it would be a better story if they were more equal then just one character beating the crap out of the other so I hope in the battle between yujiro vs kuroki it would be a close well choreographed fight

To people saying the people who favor baki are weird for being confused by many things its kinda like we understand this isn't debatable... we understand for the sake of its okay to scale them down to make this even but the amount of people who don't understand that they were scaled down or how much they were scaled down is concerning. So maybe the kengan readers should read baki because if u actually read both you'd understand the very clear differences in the abilities and strengths. The crossover isn't the problem the people arguing that kengan verse actually has a legit shot is where I'd see the problem being. Case in point baki moved so fast he actually caught his dad off guard just to be told in this crossover he couldn't land a punch. That's straight bs. That ability was literally one of bakis main things being able to move in the absence of a persons consciousness.
