- The three fishermen have a youtube channel, but I could not find it, if you do, please leave a link in the details. To the man and his friend, I met at their camp, don't forget your pancake mix next weekend and to the Asian woman and her friend, I hope you can make it to the next camp as well.
As for my locations, I stopped sharing them as some places I like to preserve for myself and my grandson's future playground. I will show him everything I know, in hopes to keep the preservation of these beautiful mountains secure to the best of my ability. They have given me a wonderful life. - Навчання та стиль
Could you imagine living in that cabin back in the day. That would have to be just a little bit this side of heaven.
but at the same time, life would have been hard much of the time.
@@PHARRAOHYou would definitely have to know about your wild edibles. And be a fan of three paw bear stew.
I feel like ppl don’t appreciate this amazing scenery they have right in their backyard
Definitely
Looks good to me. Aren't we lucky to have this in our back yard!
Thanks
yes and the beach the other way, the desert to the east, the sierras to the north and ALL of them over stocked with fine ass yellowtail! PARADICE!
Thank you Alan...and your super good looking friend!
It was more a meal, trout don't make good friends
Love the san Gabriel's, so vast and the history is amazing
They've been my home away from home more than 4 decades now. I'll most likely end up there for my final dirt nap
Awesome excursion noodling dinner. Smitty definitely pulled a hefty one for that particular river bank.
I will have to check out those foothill fishermen's channel, Awesome to meet people with a common thread.
Dude, I actually feel, like part of those mountains now days. Im part of the scenery
Man, that trout look deeelicious! Great times as always!
on a steek!
Oh man, what a beautiful place!
its the colors, ka colors, I am a nightmare walkin, psychopath talkin, king of the range just a backpacker talkin
Awesome trip... Great video. Looked fun. Wet ass feet sucks, it's part of the game. Killer fish. I laughed when you scared those dudes. Thank you for sharing. Take care Alan. 🇺🇲
you sure are giving your kids a great life. Great dad man. cheers
Looks awesome! I was going to ask where this is, but then I read your description and completely understand. Looking forward to Glen camp!
Awesome, thank you!
Thank for the great adventure in the San Gabriel’s really enjoyed your video.
Thank you sir. Merry Christmas
What a amazing awesome backpacking trip right there HellToTheYeah Brother . That cabin is deep in that canyon wow them trout are freaking big . They looking delicious cooking up on the fire with some Drippage HellToTheYeah scare them dudes 😅😅😅 thanks for the awesome video
I can have fun in a drainage ditch with a empty jiffy pop tin and a broken popsicle stick
Glad you enjoy the angling. I did have a rod n reel when I lived up there but was too busy running up and down the canyon for work and music school so never got to do the stuff you do up in there. Tho, I'll never forget waking up to the sweet desert mountain smells and grilling meat on manzinita wood! Happy that you are my eyes ad ears to the San Gabriel's . A big lost place in my heart!
I was married to a Russian woman for little over a year and a 1/2 and even considered moving to Russia but once I was there for 2 months I missed the San Gabriel so much I moved back it's been my home for Going on 5 decades.
That's so cool!
pure magic, with a soundtrack of Linkin Park, "in my head?
That place is genuinely wild, and lots of history too.
I’m not sure if I have been to that cabin though..
And that trout is massive! 🎣
I had a great time, I wanted to take Nanette but her foot surgery stopped everything.
Aqua quest defender tarp, I have that same tarp, there great tarps.
I have the exact same one also and you are correct outstanding tarps. I would argue the best tarps you can buy.
I had the camo, gave it to a guy just starting out@@joedunbarjr
I love Integral design, but they are no more
Dude! I need to get back there ASAP! Look at that trout! 😮
TSOL is a good band BTW 🤘
they made my bivi for me out of the drummer's dads old suite.
@@PHARRAOH thats the kind of stuff straight out of the cuckoo’s nest. Stay wild ✌️ see you out there, sooner or later.
That was a big trout man.
thats what she always says.
Awesome trek coming down that canyon, and the trouts you guys caught were something! Your bear roar would scare the crap outa anyone. That was great!
You guys ran into us at camp on Saturday on your way out. Was cool meeting both of you and we’ll see you guys Saturday morning at Glenn Camp..😊
Awesome. We're you with the other guy, and both Asian women?
@@PHARRAOH yeah, we got acquainted, we were with the 2 Asian gals..

Beautiful

I went up to the upper shakes Campground with Joseph Russell and Hector from Hector Outdoors a few weeks ago and that trail really sucks now there's a lot of parts of the trail that were washed out
yeah, its all done by volunteers now days, thank obamy and trump. not to mention the fool in their now, we started the downward slide 3 or 4 presidents back and none had a clue how to reverse it. Now, we are left to volunteers
Tsol lol. How's it going man. Head up to my camp before high water. Cool trip and great fishing gentlemen. Joe gold
Will do.
Huge trout! Last month at the bridge to nowhere trailhead some guy told me he caught a 13” rainbow trout & I thought he was just joking but I guess not, and last week my buddy caught a 7” rainbow. Going up to the narrows this weekend hoping I get lucky and can cook something juicy like y’all! What kinda bait did you use? Love all your content man, hope to hit a trail in the future!
Jigs, no bait.
I caught a 13" on yucca cordage and a bone gouge hook, I made from yucca plants and a deer leg bone I found up there. No joke! I have it all on video, for a survival challenge
Nice
Thank you
I think you've practiced that bear growl before 😅😂
I can do a wolf even better
Still loving these vids, Alan. Hope you are doing well!
Excellent video \m/
Be excellent!
Okay I carted my stuff down to heaton flats and camped there maybe 10 times this year at the East Fork, but where is this? Looks awesome!
Sorry, I dont share all my locations but there are many just like this all over the range. For example, the video 2 or three before this one I found another gem. One never knows what's just over the next ridge. another example, drop off the pct Between little Jimmy and Baden Powell, paradise. Dangerous, but paradise! And FEW, have ever been!
Amazing this is close to metro area
Yes, our back yards. Merry Christmas
❤🙏
thanks
YQW I must of thought about you a hundred while watching these 7 videos 😅🤣😂 🙏❤️😎
Have you ever had an encounter with a Bigfoot?
I thought I did once, up north by the patty site. turned out to be a large woman dressed in black taking selfies. NO JOKE, ITS IN MY VIDEOS.
Deer toe much different than camel toe!
