Great video. I've been an EMT for a while and would have loved seeing this before I went to EMT school.
Only thing to add, EMT pay is getting better. I live in an area with a low cost of living and associated lower pay for everyone. And all of the EMS and non-emergent transport companies that hire EMTs are starting at $15/hr or more. The company I work for (EMS is a part time thing for me, more of a hobby than a career) starts new EMTs at $17.00.
My wife is a physician. Since you're about to start medical school I'll say it is worth it. Every doctor I know questioned whether it was at some point during school and again during residency. They payoff is well into the future, but when you get there it is great. Just remember to set aside some time for yourself. There is life outside of class and studying.
