My personal explanation for their ineffectiveness is that they aren't being used as intended. Same reason why half of them died on Geonosis.
They were born and trained to work in squads of 4, often isolated, behind enemy lines, with lots of room for improvisation and planning.
They were not trained to work in massive groups as a security detail, or as individual elite soldiers interspersed with regular ones.
from one of the greatest game characters Filoni made him npc without any purpose and the way he died without deffending himself he just stood there and was taking blaster shoots xDDDD.
and today here we are... him just getting shot 4 times and then falling into the water...

He was barely in the finale, he didn’t put up a decent fight, and we don’t know why he was on Tantis, and now he’s dead

Let's clarify one thing. Delta Squad is NOT Legacy material. Boys are in canon as a whole team. It's just the question of how they are being handled.
That's not what I meant by legacy, I just meant that they have a legacy in terms of being in /having been established before The Bad Batch series

They are Legends material. They got a cameo in one random TCW episode that made them Disney continuity. Doesn’t mean anything when the writers treat them like props. Disney Canon L.
Lotta people talking about how he died like a chump, but they need to realise that the only reason scorch is here is because fans reacted so positively when he showed up, he was just meant to be a one time goon who might show up again maybe in like a book or comic later. But since we liked him, they kept bringing him back and they didn’t know what to do with him. To be honest, you couldn’t really make a clone commando less like scorch, he doesn’t talk or act like Scorch or use explosives, he’s just meant to be a regular clone. I don’t like it but that’s the way it is.
You figure that if your community is up in arms hyping this character up that you would at least have some respect to give the character a worthy death.

I second that thought. Throughout all 3 seasons we’ve been seeing the commandos get their asses handed to them by the Bad Batch, prime example being the time when they captured the bad batch after losing Tech. That many squads working together should’ve sweeped them.

Repcom is one of my fav Star Wars stories of all time, and I know many others feel the same way. Imagine if Rex or Cody or echo or fives was done this dirty. Uggghh I haven’t been this mad at a Star Wars episode in a long time.

If Scorch does end up dying, we can only hope that they make a series surrounding Delta Squad from the Clone Wars, to where they were during order 66 to what happened to Sev on Kasshykk (probably spelt that wrong) and what happened to the other members after order 66

Agreed, I found it ironic that the commandos in legends gave the regular rank and file clone troopers shit for not thinking for themselves and being droids for the Jedi/republic and looked down upon them for that, now the regular clones are more independent and are thinking for themselves and questioning the empire and it’s now the commandos being droids for the empire and not thinking for themselves and are the shills now

I do agree that it’s a shame we didn’t have more of him it’s the same for me with crosshair we needed more of him serving the empire before he realised the truth scortch out of all of them has given the most damage to the bad batch we’ve only got to look back at season 1 when we first saw him so I can kind of understand why they’ve made him to be the most tactical out of the commandos as for the bad batch yeah they are commandos but I think the main advantage they have are the skills they got engineered with I think that’s why mostly the commandos have been so easy to beat I just hope this ep is long we need to find out who cx is what makes Rex stop fighting I’m all for a series about the three of them but I don’t want to wait I think along with most people months to find out what happens when it’s been teased every season that they want to go to tantis to free clones

They honestly missed an opportunity to redeem him,they should’ve had him start questioning hemlock and started seeing the empire for who they really are and starting feeling guilt of how they were treating the clones cause scorch was having that I’m so much better than these clones they’re testing on, they’ll never do me like that mentality same with the other commandos you could probably argue it was the chips that had him act like that but that is yet to remain certain, but still he should’ve betrayed hemlock cause that’s why I thought they introduced him and we’re gonna build him up in season 3, scorch deserved better and should’ve had a redemption arc alongside emerie, now he’ll be remembered as the clone commando who was an empire shill and hemlocks bitch.

this armor can withstand 100 galons of TREIBSTOFF Explosives but not 6 blasterbolts from midrange chaning there own rules
They shiudlve inckuded sev in rex's group and an enoucnter leading to him kiloig hemlock, possibly sacrificing his own life as the zillo beast eats them

The zillo will be the cavalry for sure but we need Rex Gregor wolf and all the other clones he’s gathered to head to tantis and join the fight bad batch are good but they ain’t getting far against all those commandos let alone scrotch be cool to see him place some demolitions down at times I’m less hopeful that we will get some explanation as to where the rest of delta are I feel if they was with the empire that they would have been sent to reinforce tantis with the squads they have been put in charge of so let’s hope we get a tails of the clones and also Dave has something where you can ask questions about the season and get answered because I think most of us are going to have a lot of questions

Yeah without spoiling anything the best we saw of scortch was back in season one everyone’s complained about how useless and easy commandos are in bad batch to defeat and season one when we first saw scortch out of all of them he rightfully so was given more of a brain no one can say that scene back in season 1 wasn’t the guy used the smoke grenades smoke to roll to the opposite side dodged two stun blasts from hunter then proceeded to use the lift to beat them to the other side besting tech when he tried to go for him then took five stuns to take him down gutted we didn’t get more hopefull tales of the clones will happen but have more eps not just six focusing on clones we hardly saw like green wolf Bly etc main one we need is 3 eps of delta two during clone wars times final one for delta being after order 66 finding out what happens to the rest of them then ending with maybe scortch being sent to train tk troopers

If I remember right, "Scorch" wasn't intended to be Scorch of Delta Squad, just an homage to him with the paintjob. It was by the continued comments of the audience and fans that they decided to just make the clone Scorch, leaving the rest of Delta unaccounted for. With how fluid the people at Lucasfilm are nowadays with lore, I wouldn't be surprised that there'd still be clones spread throughout the galaxy, and we just know of Rex, Gregor, and Wolffe because Rex is a significant return in Rebels.
Scorch was always intended to be Scorch, the bad writing of the episode guide in season 1 meant nothing.
I grew up with him being my favorite clone and now he’s a traitor!☹️
Edit: I’m guessing the RCs are so weak because they aren’t really RCs they’re just basic clones in RC armor because they needed more security
