***** Because the X2014 fan car can go faster than what most brains can process in motion, causing motion sickness. Not only THAT, but this car generates so much G in the corners that the driver may pass out, as the x2014 can exceed cornering forces of 9G in most corners due to how fast it can take them thanks to the fan technology. The human body at most will withstand constant G-Forces of 10G, and even then that's only in vertical travel. Most of the X2014's G is generated through lateral movements on the ground. And can you *imagine* a 100MPH+ crash in one of these in reality? Because you'll be going at that speed in low-speed corners due to how much downforce being generated will keep you glued to the tarmac...until you set a wheel on the grass.
WOW. the best I ever got around Nurburgring was a 5:58 in a stock Peugeot 908 HDI with racing softs, but I was using a controller. This is a very good lap.
an average of 3-5 g is not deadly. Even the peak lateral g force of 8 g isn't deadly It is just pretty hard to endure and not to lost you consciousness. Imagen Red Bull Air racing. Maximum "axial" g force is 10 g and this is while sitting much harder tu endure then lateral g forces
Holy smokes!! What kinda drug did he use to do this? Must be speed I guess... How many laps did he practice to go round without crashing? He sure got his track knowledge right. ;)
I don't know if this is the footage, but Sebastian Vettel actually drove this car on this circuit to beat the "virtual" track record he set in the "virtual" RB13 F1 car. He beat the record by about 30sec! Crazy unrestricted RB X2014 car was designed by Adrian Newey. I wish they'd make one. It would be a spectacle to behold for sure :D
+Jan Henrik Halvorsen This car _is_ capable of going this fast if it was built in reality. Vacuum Downforce allows the car to have maximum traction at all times, unlike a traditional formula car. Another advantage the Red Bulls have over standard formula cars is the closed wheel housings. Fully-open wheels create a lot of air resistance, which is why if a standard formula car, and a Red Bull (even the fan-less Red Bull X14 Standard) with identical engine outputs and curb weights were to have a drag race, the Red Bull would come out on top. Finally, the closed canopy is designed to allow the maximum streamline efficiency possible while still having enough room for a driver. This canopy further reduces air resistance. For a complete scientific breakdown of the Aerodynamics, send a letter to Adrian Newey (chief Aerodynamicist of Red Bull Racing and one of the two lead designers of the Red Bull X1 series) to get an explanation.
The only problem with vacuum downforce is that it only works when you can maintain that vacuum. If you put your hand very close (say, 0.5 cm from the sucking end of a vacuum tube), it will probably be sucked to it instantly. But if you're only 2-3 cm further away, the only thing you feel is some air being gently sucked near your palm. So the problem with this car in real life is that it would be impossible to drive not because of the forces generated, but because all roads have bumps that would cause its distance from the ground to vary (even if only slightly), and that would create huge variations of grip. Too great at those speeds for a driver to be able to compensate for by reflexes.
if you think that gran turismo is a realistic simulator then you cannot be wrong any more than that! for example you cn win a go kart race in reverse :) the physics are not even present it feels like mario kart!
WHAT!!!! HOW!!?? I CAN PULL 9MIN WITH A LAN EVO IN GT FOR PSP, AND ABOUT 11MIN WITH EVO IN GT4, THIS!!?? HHHHHHHHHAOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!
That just looked like a fast forward replay lol
And this, folks, is why Formula 1 has regulations.
But they really should bring back that suction fan.
i dont understand why does it have regulations than?

Billy Raymond ahh its for safety thanks dude amazing piece of machinery it is!

THAT SPEED!
THOSE TURNS!
at the Nurburgring........
whoever drove that car is a master
X2014 Fan Car sounds better than anything in Forza. COME AT ME
just imagine if that was real... that guy inside there would be dead after the first corner xD

Link, or specs would be great.
Great skill.
i don't think you can even tune it
crazy. i can't even get higher than a silver on the vettel fan car challenges. glad the green hell isn't one of the tracks
i got 3 gold in a total 9 minutes... :( so, Green Hell will captivate me.
A constant succession of doppler effect
This is a case where it really matters whenther you can run it at 120 fps vs 60 fps. the driver is a pure master (bow)
Mind. Blown.
No driving aids? no ABS?
This car is ABS 1 only, X2010 and X2011 are all off.
Ok
Impossibru! :-p
given that the record of 3'38.031 and because the video lasts 7:18 ? hi !! , not only do most nn see time
Good god, if this was irl, you drive this x2014, about one minute later, your head almost explodes.
Good
the only thing i came away from this video is that the sound effects are awful.
pulling about 95 lateral G's on the reg....
Holy smokes!! What kinda drug did he use to do this? Must be speed I guess... How many laps did he practice to go round without crashing? He sure got his track knowledge right. ;)

Didn't even break 300mph down Dottinger, what a casual.
is this some extra car that you unlock?
and did you really drive that in the game? its crazy fast!!! xD
Are you magic?
There´s no human that can hold the G´s like that. On the tenth curve it would have puked like twenty times...
Impressive, anyway! ;)
The guy in the car must be like
o-o -_- 0-0
I thought that GranTurismo is a car simulator, not train simulator...
Welcome to "the real driving simulator", the game where the sound is awful and the physics don't matter!
THIS!

Al Ba most race tracks are diamond cut to fix that issue so it’s really the speed issue
