Great video. I started working with the web from the beginning in the early nineties. At that time, things were tricky, and you really needed to code. There were no UA-cam channels to help us. Our only chance was to buy expensive code books and try to understand them. I ended my developer period in 2001 after an "almost breakdown." I'm trying to return, but for the time being, I'm just watching some videos about DIVI, and yours are perfect. Thank you for being there.

I was having trouble with limited button options for the the “full width header,” and after watching this, I realize all I need to do is use a different module!! Thank you for this effort, but clarity; We confuse row and column: every row contains at least one column, and each row may have a different layout. The row may be composed of one column, it may be composed of two columns, and it may be more.
I purchased the full Divi lifetime package when it was on special offer and it is so easy to use, all thanks to you Ferdy. However I am seeing a weird issue in that the pages I am creating using Divi, these are random question marks in diamonds at various places on every page. This is not apparent when viewing pages whilst I am logged in to admin but once I log out of admin the weird symbols are there. Have you had this issue and if so do you have any suggestions how to fix it?
Hi Ferdy, I have one question: when I change the setting on the mobile view, Divi also makes it on other devices, such as tablet or desktop. To me, it doesn't overrule if I want to make different settings on specifit devices. Not a drawback at all. All sections are timestamped in the Description so you can EASILY click and go tot he section you want. I love it's all one video!
Ferdy your videos are great, thank you for putting them together. I now feel confident in building my first site with the divi theme. Just a question, do you have a video on how to prepare images for the site. Should they be resized to 72 or 96 dpi to make them quicker to load? Would appreciate advice as have a lot of pictures to put into the website and most are over 4mb as are 230 or 300 dpi resolution. I can batch convert them with Photoshop but would be useful to know best practice,
72dpi is standard for websites and social platforms. Do also consider the resolution of the files, they play a role in the total file size. You only need to consider higher dpi for print materials.

Great tutorial Ferdy! I noticed that if I have a page with little content, that the footer is not at the bottom of the screen but instead floating somewhere in the middle. Is there a way to push the footer bar to the bottom?. I don't want it to be present all the time on longer page, only when the visitor have scrolled to the end of the page if it is a long page.

For the icon and images settings when creating the blurb setting all the settings do not show up. I can not see the settings for border styles. Anyone know how to fix?

The JNews theme is amazing! But it is a blogging or news website theme. Divi is more of an overall theme that can do a lot. But for a news website Jnews is a better fit.

This is strange... when changing the default page to be shown when opening the webpage...the menu either appears or is gone..

How do you import the provided sample site for the WebDevine?
For importing a sample site you are required to submit the Divi API key first. And once you are done you can use all the prebuilt samples
