@@skinnyworl I probably would too if I looked enough to notice. Bother their quality is awesome and I feel that the o my reason BG has so many more followers and subscribers is because if the comments left in the hope of winning ships
Thank you so much my brother. I'm not the one to look for recognition but I cannot lie that shout out at the beginning sounded awesome and I thank you for it. But, regardless I have to say that you the one that puts in all the work and we appreciate you. Amazing channel and amazing news. God bless you always
Thank you for all the hard work, Mac! As a helpful note, you CAN get out of your pilot's seat without slowing your ship. Pressing "V" decouples your maneuvering thrusters, and your ship will no longer automatically settle towards zero velocity. Instead, it will simply keep moving on whatever vector its inertia puts it on once you've finished thrusting. Decoupling is helpful in dogfighting, as well - and it lets you start using your speed as more of an asset.
This is one patch where deleting your shaders folder can be the difference between a visceral visual experience and one where parts of stations and outposts don’t seem to load in, breaking immersion.
cant wait to set foot on those floating platforms looking out to the horizon, thinking about the possibility of making a trip to pyro in the near future
Wow this report is so robust, it's long list of progress. Thanks for the breakdown. As someone who's very dyslexic I have trouble reading the reports at times without headaches and rely heavily on your breakdowns.
POI archetype could be one of that gaming boxes, so we can play mini-games and store high scores. Not 100% sure, but Point of Interest items is something players will want to do. Clouds from what I am reading are going to make planets crazy immersive as you cut through the atmosphere to land.
Now that's a reason to go check out the Javelin wreck. Super stoked for Orison. I hope the gas giant tech is doing ok. Though, maybe we can get Orison before a full implementation. Since rudimentary clouds are in. Still, seems like spending a lot of time to get something in and then going back over. Tech debt doesn't need to be added to unless necessary.
Hopefully they’ll look like actual backpacks (especially tactical style) that’ll fit our suit loads out, cause that would be pretty exciting if we did.
Sounds like there is a good amount of optimization coming up. Not going to lie I was a bit pessimistic about the project when I saw the roadmap earlier this year. Here's hoping they get meshing turned on this year too.
It's confusing and shouldn't be necessary. This is a silly issue that should have been fixed ages ago asking with inverted menus if you play with an inverted mouse.
Does anyone know if we will get the ability to request ships with other ships “docked”? For example: what happens if you park your P72 and then destruct the Connie... what do you get back when you file a claim?
Medical gameplay - in progress Ship modularity - in progress Ship to ship/ship to station docking - in progress Secretly planning an Endeavour reveal with medical modules??
Its where NPC's such ad food vendors and security personel walk out of in the game instead of just popping into existence like in Cyber Punk. Probably a door out of view from players that can only be used by NPC's.
Seems like they are finally in a state where they can start to implement more and more gameplay and fluff elements to the game. I am realy excited for how the Alpha will look like in 1 too 2 years from now. Perhaps I'll even buy it then 😁👍
If QA is being done properly and the QA feedback is being listened to, there should be no need to embed QA team members in the dev teams. This is actually a troubling development. It suggests QA are not being listened to. This could be the result of ego on the developers part, QA feedback just not being useful or the devs being overworked or lacking experience in handling feedback from QA. Whatever the reason, this points to continuing communication problems within CIG.
Yay, npcs can poop soon... I know that CIGs attention to detail is responsible for the incredible atmosphere in SC but sometimes i enjoy the background footage far more than the actual information
this videos are the best way to keep me distracted from work every morning
These are some of the best videos in UA-cam for SC content. You and BoredGamer seem to be the best.
I prefer him to bored as he actually matches visuals to the discussion; Bored just plays random SC clips so it may aswell be a podcast.
@@skinnyworl ah, I don't watch anyway. I just listen to the update while I potter around.

Thanks for the updates. Still holding out for server meshing to be in game and what performance boost it will bring.
Cool, thanks man. I truly appreciate the fact that you go to so much trouble to keep us informed. You are like a prophet foreseeing the future.

You already CAN get out of your pilot seat without slowing down. Its called the "v" key.
or if u have your ship on cruise u can get out
