Almost all of Nates fights have been in the ufc and he's been fighting since before he was 20 of his 11 losses 9 are decisions and 3 of those were split decisions he could easily beat khabib standing or tap him out on the ground
@Micah West - Khabib would destroy Diaz in devastating fashion. Diaz' fight against Rafael Dos Anjos is a good example of what Khabib/Diaz would look like. Diaz has very poor takedown defense, and his ground game is very basic and one-dimensional, high level grapplers like Khabib or Dos Anjos can easily take him down, and easily shut him down on the ground.
Micah West you must be new to the sport and never saw Nate Diaz get destroyed by Benson Henderson in his only title fight. Diaz is AWFUL against elite level wrestlers. Khabib would maul him.

"conor made the mistake of letting diaz get him to the ground" actually skiiiiiiup thats not what happened. Conor was gassed and didnt want to stand and trade punches, unlike Diaz who was begging him to come forward and keep fighting, Conor shot the ill advised double leg but obviously diaz ground game is far more superior. You can see Diaz full mount then start raining punches to which Conor did what no fighter should ever do and rolled his back to diaz giving the easy choke. Btw he lost the second fight too, but the ufc couldnt afford that L on their cash cow.

He 'won' a close fight. I think it was by two points. Diaz gave him the immediate rematch. And Conor studied well and planned the leg kicks well. It could of went either way with conor almost getting finished. If you think it was so clear then their wouldn't be fans asking for a rematch, not just 'mcgregor hate trains' but people who know that'll be a better fight than khabib again where he was clearly dominated.

Conor will never have a chance against Khabib. Stylistically, Conor's game just plays in Khabib's favor. Unless Conor magically attains the world's best takedown defense and stamina, he will never beat Khabib. Every rematch will play out the same as Saturday.

Yes, we want to see them in the ring again. Please do it...we would love to see it and even pay for it. It was so much fun. Connor made it so much more interesting by saying so many things before match.
Conor is a counter puncher, with a weakness to wrestling. In the first round Khabib avoided trading punching Conor. He back peddled until he got a takedown, and wore Conor out QUICK. After Conor started to gas, Khabib started trading blows because Conor's counters were less of a threat.
The key factor in his losses to Nate and Khabib is that he runs out of gas. Anybody with exceptional cardio presents a problem to him.

I am truly tired of Skip continuously saying Nate out weighed Conner by 20lbs. There were weigh ins. They both met the weight required by the commission in order to be allowed to compete. Nate spent most of his career at 155.
It's true Nate took the fight on such short notice there was no way he was making wieght. Wasn't even any point in trying the first fight was catch wieght.
