- Hunting down more secret tracks on Dartmoor. The end section of the first was steep & slick with two medium sized drops. The end section of the second one had a big vertical drop to flat onto the fire road that I didn't fancy.
The GoPro effect really doesn't do these two justice!

That looks right up my street. Don't suppose there's any chance of a pin drop?
It's the same location as the two rock rolls / drops you did, just much further into the forest. Take the fire road from the main parking area, following it as it bends right & passing where most of the tracks come down. Keep following the fire road as it turns left & crosses over the stream, follow the fire road up to the left. After two right bends the fire road starts to climb again. As you approach the top just past a grassy area on the left there is an obvious path on the left. Follow that up to where you'll see 1 track coming in from the right & 2 exiting left (these 2 take you to several different steep techy tracks). Ignore those & keep straight on the path. There are 3 tracks on the left but spread apart. This track is the third & final one. The entrances might be overgrown this time of year so you'll need to look closely. If you reach tarmac you've gone to far. Enjoy. And if you do those drops be sure to post the footage!
I know exactly where you are. Funnily enough that is the only trail I've not ridden on that side 🤣🤣 I'll check it out this week 👌👍
Just come back from riding that area today (but not the track you want to do) lots of the trees have had an orange dot painted on them which I think means they are going to be felled but I don't know when - shame that will probably mean no riding there for a while 😢
Yes noticed that last week. It usually means in the next 12 months. It's all over the whole of the woods. Both sides 😓
