RACING AGAINST THE RAIN To The ABANDONED Highway

It's been a while that I've wanted to share this ride on my channel. It's one of the routes I like to take through the country in the spring when I'm starting out my cycling season or on a day when I'm looking to do a relaxing shorter ride.
My goal was to get to the abandoned section of King's Highway 29 and end the video there. I thought everything would be smooth sailing, but the clouds were blowing in and not blowing out, like I thought. So instead of having a nice relaxing, sunny ride, it ended up being an eventful ride where I was pushing myself as fast as I could go to try and outrun the rain that started coming down while avoiding angry turkeys.
Hey, at least there weren't any dogs chasing me! I'll call that a win!
