Your flight skills are insane. I Just discovered this heli today. Looks to be a couple hundred more than the RS4. I have been flying the RS2 for a few months (helicopters for many years). The RS2 is awesome, but I want something larger for my eyes. This M4 looks great.
Kick ass video. Did you try messing with the P and I gain on cyclic for the "bobble"!? If that didn't work I would want to swap out some new servos and see what happens. 🚁💨💯
Thanks for sharing! From what I find online, the HRB 6s 1800 battery is around 270g, the recommended battery is 295g-325g, I'm curious how did you get the CG right?
The HRB 1800s that I got on Amazon recently are actually heavier than any of the ones I had before. All of the other ones were 295-297g, but the ones ordered and received yesterday morning are larger and weigh 335g, so they're actually a bit heavier than recommended. It still CGs just fine though!
@@littlebox8510 Yeah I don't know. I'm hoping they are a higher C rating than the old ones which could be why they're larger and heavier. Obviously they still say the same 50C but maybe now they're closer to that number than the older ones. Should definitely update their description though
The OMP ESC is hard coded. :) 100% = 4000rpm, 50% = 2000rpm, etc. Confirmed with telemetry to be accurate. Very easy rpm calculation :) disadvantage is it's not as useful for other helis, but for the M4 it is as easy as it gets
Not sure on this Heli but most guys I fly with prefer belt tail. Less prone to vibrations and less fragile in crashes. On my torquetube helis I pretty much have to replace the torque tube and boom on ever crash. Belt tail can tolerate a minuscule tweak or misalignment in the boom but torque tube can’t. Either is fine, pros and cons either way. Torque tube doesn’t need re-tensioned in cold weather.

I love your flying style so crisp yet fluid
Thanks!
Great video, Looking forward to seeing more M4 content and pre-ordering soon!
Soon! Yeet!
Nice!! Thanks for the video, can't wait to build mine...🙂
It's a fast build!
did you manage to work out what to adjust to get rid of the cyclic wobbles? Great flight, hope you do some more M4 content :)

May I know did you have a chance to try 420 helis? How M4 (380 class heli in general) fly compare to 420 one?
I haven't yet!
Wondering how the M4 has held up over the past year? Has it been reliable? Considering it or a Goosky RS4.
@@orbitalgolem91 No issues so far! All three of my M4 (one Max) have been extremely dependable.
Wow great skills and that heli seriously gets down. Kinda want one...
I enjoyed the wonderful flight video. I bought the kit version but couldn't select the tail servo. Could the kst215mg servo be used? Advice please.
It would work, not ideal though
Nice flying! Heli looks good and flys good... definitely gonna get one sometime in the future.
You'll love it :)
Or you using stock omp servo arm on kst servo
Yes they fit
Have you tried on the RT 71 tail blades. Also will you be trying 6s 2200 batteries in the near future ?
Haven't really felt the need to use the RT as these ones seem to perform fine. I will be getting different batteries in the future most likely yes
Where did you get your OMP M4? Btw nice flying.
He is sponsored by omp so he tries the model’s earlier
@@nohandle4u2see huh?
Ya to deadly bro 😎
What’s the pitch you had setup for this M4? It seems to fly a lot better than the protos IMO.
I don't have a pitch gauge so I don't know the exact amount, but I know the pitch was just slightly beyond the marks on the blade grips.

@@BladeScraper Wow that's huge variation, and could be sometimes misleading with the inaccurate descriptions. Thanks for sharing the information!

This thing flys like a beast. What rpms are u using for bank 1 and 2?
2500 and 2850
How do you determine headspeed precisely? Nice flying!

@@BladeScraper Thank you!
Great video 👍🏻
Nice flying! That looks like a nice heli. Is torque tub or belt? Do you have a preference and why? I'm fairly new to the hobby. Thank you.

@@emersonb5764 cool thanks!
Congrats , Nice Machine ¡¡¡¡¡
Wow, how many years you have been flying a 3d helicopter?
Around 10 years
One of the smoothest fliers out there. Always makes great videos
@@BladeScraper super good, sir! May I ask, how often you could crash one ? Like out of 10 flys, could crash 1 ? or just 1 out of 100?
@@43SunSon See my video "5 Minutes of RC Helicopter Crashes" :P
I DON'T SEE IT ON OMPHOBBY...😖😖😫😫🙄🙄🤔🤔
What?
@@BladeScraper I DIDN'T SEE THE M4 HELI???
More clean flying bro.
Nice flight thanks for sharing that!! Do you use internal ESC GOV, not Ikon GOV? Seems to work great.
Yes it's the OMP ESC gov
380s are a good size to make videos with
kinda small on camera 😂 funnily the video of the flights was 125% zoomed
