Awesome event thanks for posting this video sharing it with us. Quick question if someone gets out there before anyone shows up to set up are you still not allowed to fly anything like a small 3d foamy or a 1s brushless Tiny whoop or anything else especially if no one else isn't around????
@@3DMOFO2020 honestly I don't know, but I have a feeling not technically allowed. Triple Tree Aerodrome is very particular about their place and their rules, much more so than other fields. Whether or not you could just do it anyway and probably won't get caught is a different story :)
True! The reason I ask is one time at this RC Club that used to be around back in the mid 90's you weren't allowed to fly until 10am mainly because of a cemetery me along with a few others who use to fly as a guests like myself used to yell at the field controller of that club saying"WHY NOT? THEY'LL F*CKING DEAD HOW THE HELL IS MY PLANE OR HELI DISTURBING THEM BEING DEAD?🤣🤣🤣
@@3DMOFO2020 most clubs don't mind if you arrive early and fly. I think Triple Tree is especially particular because it's a full scale airport so they need (or just want) to have tighter control over their land than just an RC club field would. Just my suspicion anyway
Hey, I only have experience with 200-size micro helis and a simulator. I was considering a Tron Nitron 5.5 as my first 'big' heli. Is this a good choice, or should I go for a Nitron 90 for more stability?
It's certainly something you could do but I'd probably not recommend either of those as your first big heli. Nitro is fun, but it alone is a whole new learning experience. Adding that to learning the ways of large helis (whether 550 or 700) is probably going to cause a lot of headache for you. One thing at a time would be my suggestion :) The exception would be is if your local club has plenty of seasoned nitro heli pilots... they could help you out with the nitro side while you're learning the big heli side. Either way - have fun :)
Keep them coming great videos

@BladeScraper Cool😎
Loving the videos. I wanted to ask if your m4 is the original version or if you're running the max for bigger motor/ blades?
I have both of them, but I fly the Max more.

Running costs of a 90 size Nitro is dramatically more than 550-600 size, if I were you I'd stick with electric

Very nice ! If you are STL file for the charging case on your film. Please PW
I do not distribute the stl files but I do sell printed part kits to build one yourself.
