    Great subject and video!
While not myths there are some additional great things about Wanderlodges. They are one of the safest coaches on the road and because of their construction design there is no skin delamination like fiberglass coaches have.

Great videos! Thanks for sharing your insights and many years of experience. For those who have not made it to Pine Mountain, it gives us some idea of the legend behind the name on WOG.

Isn’t this argument going on the WOG right now? Allison, Cummins, Detroit, Bendix, Rockwell, on and on. Dan just got me a windshield. Fiberglass!!!! Best part my wife found ours :-)

This is really good stuff to know ; considering one of these or other older coaches but am concerned about availability and knowledge of people who could work on one

Now when I get the inevitable "How do you find parts?" questions, I know where to refer them!

Hello Randy, I’m newly subscribed to your channel. My wife and I are just retired and are looking for a reliable wonder-lodge made in the 80’s no longer than approx 35 feet. My parents had an awesome life in motor-homing full time for the last 15 years. During that time they never missed any special events…. My wife and I are very active and are thinking about enjoying traveling the U.S. Are there any wonder lodge RV’s that you can recommend that are reliable if properly maintained? I prefer an RV without pop-outs only because my folks experience problems with leakage and mold.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my commentary.

I work at the national parts distribution warehouse for Bluebird bus in Delaware, Ohio. The Wanderlodges must have been manufactured at a separate location not Fort Valley? I've been with Bluebird 6 years so the Wanderlodge is new to me.AL B in Ohio.

I can tell you ,as fact, that Wanderlodge bodies were made in the same building as the school buses . After the body was put on the chassis , it was sent across the street to the Wanderlodge building for the interior to be installed and the coach to be painted. I toured the plant in 1995 for research on school bus construction and they gave us a complete tour of the whole Fort Valley complex. The amount of time that it took to make them help justify the price .

Wanderlodge is a cool coach. Not even close to the best.
The best coach on the road is a Liberty. Prevost bus, all stainless steel frame. Lifetime warranty against squeaks and rattles for the original owners. The Rolls Royce of motorhomes.

A good myth I hear is that these are converted school buses.

Ohh yeah,i forgot about that one, comparing a wanderlodge to a school bus is like comparing air force 1 to a piper cub.
