(Re)Built To Last Some More - Willie’s Leathers
Willie Carmona, the cobbler and creator behind the brand Willie’s Leathers, is in the shoe repair business. Like a lot of those who get into it for the love, he puts remarkable effort in the preparation and restoring of shoes himself. He does all the careful and tedious processes -- from welt construction to installation of steel attachments, hand stitching, buffing, cleaning, up to even conditioning. But more than the work is the love and care he puts into every pair that comes his way.
Willie’s passion and love for leather started when he was just a kid. During his childhood, Willie would be cleaning his father’s shoes while his older siblings would chat and bond in their parents’ room. His interest did not falter at all as he grew older, as he pushed to practice his craft more by getting himself into Facebook groups where he bought and sold personally hand-restored shoes as a side-gig. Eventually, with the encouragement of his wife Rosie, Willie was able to grow and turn his side-venture into a full-blown business. Now, Willie has just opened up shop in Mandaluyong, where he caters to anyone who’s in need of shoe restoration, repair, and cleaning services.

I looked for a quality leather boot restoration in facebook. I saw Willie's Shoe Restoration. I always watch Trenton & Heath saka si Brian the Bootmaker and I wished sana may ganun klaseng quality nagawa sa Pinas. Meron pala si Sir Willie.
Sana mag upload ng videos ng mga restorations and resoles saka mga handwelting. Nakakarelax mannod ng ganung videos.
