This is so awesome! Can't wait for the rest of the series! Thank you so much Toontrack!!!
Really really cool! I love ezdrummer 2 which I have, maybe one day I'll get this one!!! Great video guys!!
Thanks!! I needed this!
Thank You!!!
nice video tutorial
Just noticed the DAW is Studio One, which I've been using since 2013 and never looked back.
Some high quality sounds. I just wish it was as simple as an XY pad like Logic Pro X Drummer. That's just silly easy and flexible. Compared to that the UI here isn't very user friendly at all and seems too time consuming. If it ever updates to that type of workflow I will be buying.
But I am a drummer... and I have a band. I want to write my own ideas to export as midi/wav so that my bandmates could hear my groove. Is that possible?
Can I create a drum beat and paste it in Ableton Live 11 Lite to my guitar recordings?
When you do these mixes of parts, how do you make sure the piece is playable by a human? For example, that there are not parts that would require three arms? Does SD3 check for this automatically?
lol no, last part is impossible, u just gotta hope human listener doesn't notice
Please make an SDX using the Glyn Johns mic technique with lots of vintage drums!!!!!! 👍😎🤘
Thanks for the suggestion! We'll forward it to our home office!
Why sd3 snare sounds sound like a can?
Can you do this manipulation of drum sounds in EZDrummer 2? If so, how? If not, how do I upgrade?
Hi, Check out the Superior Drummer 3 Crossgrade at www.toontrack.com/product/superior-drummer-3/
@@toontrack I will assume that EZ Drummer cannot do this function, I will check out the crossgrade - Thanks!!!!!
@@toontrack I have upgraded and OMG - why didn't you tell me how wonderful the drums sound in Superior Drum - I have been FLOORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wanna get this for my next birthday: €400 for I think just the basic version and I will have 0 clue as to what to do or where to start even if I watched this video 1,000 times. Anybody got any other tips (and if possible put them in simple terms haha)
Question: Why do you build drum track in SD3 instead of dragging the parts into the DAW? Allows you to do style edits and other custom edits that are not available if dragged to the DAW track? OK so after watching this video I see one has much more editing, much less finding the individual parts, available if one keeps the trak parts in the SD3 software, Correct?
You are literally answering your questions as you watch it seems.
This is great and I love the SD sounds, can you please release a free version like Steven Slate did with SSD5?
Not that cool monetizing your channel Toontrack
