Something interesting. . . My 1st comment here, I was compelled to write, before was I got to the place in your vid where you asked for opinions on hearing the brain tick haha. I think it’s your personality to run the brain ticker-tape anyways tho. . 😁

Hi Billy, yes l want you to keep including you’re thought processing in all of you’re posts, as l learn from it all. This is an important aspect of you’re channel which makes it the absolute best!! You have raised the bar and set a very high standard, of which...”others” will be judged!!
It’s not just watching you using a chainsaw, it’s “what you do and why you do it” that makes you the best of the best.
You are a top bloke and it’s a pleasure to watch you in action. Keep going with the commentary, as it is a safety lesson as well. I’ve been felling trees for 27 years now and constantly keep learning....you are my mentor. (I’m self taught, hence the need to keep listening from you.)
    Cheers mate. Brian from Australia.😀

Billy, in my estimation, this is the most instructive site that I have seen. I, for one, am very interested in your thought processes in cutting all trees. This is how people learn. I want to learn and would even like to hear why you make certain types of undercuts, why you put wedges in certain places etc. For example I have noticed at times you will make a face cut pretty level with the ground but you back cut will be angled sometimes quite a bit and I've wondered why you do that. There must be a reason for it. Anything you can explain so that people can learn more and to also be safer when falling, is why I come to this channel. So talk away buddy and share your thoughts. I love every minute of it.

Sharing your thought process is invaluable information for those seeking insight into why you make the different cuts you do when we're on the outside looking in and don't actually see what you're seeing. It helps to hear you share your reasoning for doing what you do when felling a tree. Please continue sharing your thought process and we will all learn much under your tutelage. Sharing your experience and why you put the wedges in the exact spots you do has made all the difference in how a tree falls from what I've seen. You're making a difference in tree knowledge for those interested in pursuing a career in tree work. You're a great teacher and we can all learn much from you. I think you get the idea we want you to share all your thoughts about your work. You always make the right call and I like you sharing why you do what you do. Have a great week!

Your insights and knowledge of felling are invaluable. I've used your suggestions in some of the minor felling I've been doing and it's helped me be more successful...and safer.
