- A vortex sphere is a fascinating phenomenon that makes the inside of a sphere look a lot bigger than it actually is, and makes an amazing design for a resin paperweight. To create this effect, you will need to produce a solid sphere of clear resin with a conical spiral pattern on the inside, which is not as difficult as it sounds when you break it down into a few simple stages.
This is an intermediate level tutorial that requires a silicone sphere mould of any size, and a few simple crafting supplies.
