I always want to learn something new while I observe the profile, thin as it may be, of any architectural home of all living creatures, and their undersides, just as much as their exposed facades, be it of a sand dollar, or any other seashell.

BEACHES WHERE I’VE FOUND SAND DOLLARS:
    1. Marco Island (absolute best beach! Do not hesitate to start here. Make it your bucket list destination!)
    2. Holmes Beach in Ana Maria, Fl (I found 4 intact sand dollars right after a storm here.)
    3. Port Aransas, TX (The sand dollars here are broken but they are nice!)
    4. Padre Island, TX (There are way more fragments here but good luck finding intact ones. I go to the national seashore here but haven’t found an intact one yet. Patience, though!)

I have 2 of those crossed off my list so I'll have to get in the vehicle to check out the other 2. Have a great weekend.

I have yet to find any. Pensacola newbie here. I have yet the like to find so many shells beds just laid out like that or sand bars covered with shells. Any tips? I saw where you mentioned surf cast. I didn’t follow how that helps. Low tide is better I assume? Thanks for all the help!

Hi Miss Lucy, I shell several days a week and each trip is different. When you shell, make sure you are able to be mobile because you may have to move several times before you find shells. Happy Shelling. 🌴😎

Hi Randy, thanks for watching . I've only been to Myrtle Beach 1 time and that was before I came down with the shelling sickness. Have a great weekend.

Ever find any sand dollars at Navarre? I’m here with my mil and it’s her dream to find them!

Hi Miranda, thanks for watching. Yes, I have found Sand dollars on NB, however, every day is different. Sometimes it takes a little effort and you have to walk several miles. Generally speaking, if there is a cant to the beach the tide will keep the beaches clear of shells. Happy shelling.

Your hand looks so edible in the sun lit sea water. I must be hungry.
    Be careful.
I once made an effort to find time to go visit my younger sister's first child, my niece, at my mother's house for a family gathering.
I innocently and carefully sat this "baby" of my sister on my knees to share an apple with her which I was cutting in little bits with a paring knife and feeding little bits in the mouth of this "baby".
She reached forward and bit me really hard on the cheek, she was 9 months old and only had only 1 visible tooth protruding from her gum.
I was so shocked and surprised then, that I screamed in pain, and for my mother to come help me. I didn't want to drop the little demon to the ground ... My mother smiled, amused. This "baby" kept smiling, looking me straight in the eyes.
I was not amused, what to make of this, I was thinking.
    Cannibals are real ...!
