It's truly heartbreaking. But Red is now finally at peace. No more twisted fate, no more misery and despair, no more pain. She spent her remaining life at the side of her loved one. This really makes me wonder what will be the beginning of BS3. Grimm soul will shatter at some point, Mabel said that there is a moment where he can gather his shit together catching black souls or something, and become a Creator without feeding himself to GG. Some people say that Mabel acted like she betrayed you and died just so Grimm soul would shatter. So if that is supposed to happen, H ending is the best possible moment, what he is even gonna do alone in the real world? Find a 9\5 office job? Its not even clear if he is in the real world or in a Garden. Grimm deserves an actual good ending, and Outer ones deserve a good correction. It wont be a long wait, right?

I've completed BS1 and BS2 completly every escene, every dialogue, every thing, in total 220 Hours of my life that really worth all of it and every efford i put, One of the few games that i really loved to exploit to the nothing, stayed still to this cutscene for all it lasted.... Just thinking on the ending, hearing the music with a emptiness feel and everything this game makes you feel, every thing i've done trough the adventure, and every suffering i had, But im sure... There will be a happy ending for Grimm and Redh, Im hoping it on black souls 3, Thank you Toro for doing this Masterpiece

The way he's sitting, literally, is how I was sitting after 20 hours of nonstop playing to get to that ending. real-life self and in-game self are synchronized with a feeling of release, truly a game that pulls you in and makes you feel things that were not even yours.
This game makes me feel so many emotions; sadness, emptiness, frustration, and despair. Amazing is all I can say to it. Whoever wrote the story deserves a reward for messing up our minds.
Especially with how tough of a fight Grand Guignol is, I spent hours on it, I was so close and more than ever Grimm's struggle became my very own. Red Hood always was my favorite too, the one companion that would never betray you, from BS1 to BS2...

During the credits sequence, i always wondered "why is there a Scarborough fair arrangement" as I've never heard of anything resembling it when I was doing my first playthrough. Fast forward 30 hours later, and it's used in the final ending of the game. Bravo! I am not disappointed

It was a powerful way to end. There is no "new game plus". That is a simple redo of the cycle. Instead, it is a simple cut off to the title, proving Wonderland is no more and there is no redo.

From what I understood of the ending, Grand Guignol *was* the ability to change. By destroying Grand Guignol, Grimm destroyed the ability to change. Grimm only obtains the ability to change if you choose to succumb to Grand Guignol, and let it possess you and transform you into a Great One. Regardless, is Red Hood actually dead in Ending H? I thought the entire point of the ending was that Grimm sacrificed himself to save her. Honestly, I seem to have taken the ending to be much more hopeful than everyone else did overall. Grimm’s talk of returning to save Alice really got to me, I guess. Edit: never mind, I just remembered that Mary Sue fucked everyone over by changing Red Hood’s fate so that she would die at the age of 20, so whether she dies in Ending H or not is a bit irrelevant.
This is honestly the best game I have ever played. Its gameplay isn’t balanced nor good, the art is messed up (but it’s perfect at the same time), and overall it’s pretty bad in my perspective who has played a lot of new gen games so far. Although there is a big difference between them, Black Souls is a far better game when it comes to telling a story. A very unique premise that makes us question ourselves. Then, one thing that is important about this game… are the emotions and feelings that made me realize that this game is telling a story of despair. No matter what we do in life even if we fight to the bitter end to reach our goals. Our happiest, saddest, and bittersweet moments will all end at some point. In the end, we end up with nothing. A feeling that fully encapsulates of a desire being fulfilled, of finding the truth and moving on. When it all ends, our loved ones leave us or we leave them. Truly, being a human is the hardest thing to deal with. Love won’t last, the world that you see won’t last, the universe won’t last, everything won’t last… So we move on and lament this undeniable truth that is present throughout all sentient beings. TCO tried to deny it, but even she couldn’t stop the inevitable nor Mary Sue, Prickett, Node, Mabel, and Grimm.
That's what I like about black souls the fight will never be fair as the garden (world) is never meant to be fair it's twisted and the art is bad. But that what makes it so good because those flaws makes the world building even greater and shows how much of a hell Grimm's life is. The imperfection is what made the game so perfect.
Hey, cheer up. Maybe we can't save anyone. But remember Red said she want a kid with Grimm and proceeded to segs. One year's life is just enough to have the kid to be born. The kid...if appeared in BS3 will be the one something we saved. A dim light of hope in darkness... ...but also a tempting victim for Toro to use to hurt us once again, though.

I want to voice my opinion on a game for the closure of Grimm's tale: Instead of the action packed adventure, let the closure be like Omori's real world. Let Grimm grieve, cry and lament for sometimes. Let the story be slow to show us we're nearing the end of Grimm's storybook. Let a new character, a neutral/good god or person help Grimm to let go of the past(excluding trying to help Alice) and see the present and look out for the future as he only has one life. Let the endings go up this time E- the worst way Grimm could cope with red hood passing A- the best ending for Grimm's life For the A ending, let Node help Grimm for the last time, creating a new female, one that love Grimm, based on Red Hood and Alice. Let the girl not affected from Mary Sue's curse on Grimm. Let the requirement for this ending to be exploring the remnant of memories of BS1 and BS2 and completing a final request and finally putting Mary Sue down for the final time. We can discuss how to make a better game for the ending tho

Destroying Grand Guignol causes the death of the Crawling One (altghough I remember when Grimm falls in ending H, he just says "It does not move"), but anyways it doesn't matter, the thing is that I dont get is in wich moment Grimm's Alice got stuck inside The Crawling One? I give her for dead in BS1 when Mary Sue just pops her at the very beggining
For what I saw in Winterbell with the Teddy Bears, Prickett is a piece of the Crawling One, I thought her guilt is because of that, being part of that Thing, wich is causing Grimm a whole hell

From what I understood of the ending, Grand Guignol *was* the ability to change. By destroying Grand Guignol, Grimm destroyed the ability to change. Grimm only obtains the ability to change if you choose to succumb to Grand Guignol, and let it possess you and transform you into a Great One.
Regardless, is Red Hood actually dead in Ending H? I thought the entire point of the ending was that Grimm sacrificed himself to save her. Honestly, I seem to have taken the ending to be much more hopeful than everyone else did overall. Grimm’s talk of returning to save Alice really got to me, I guess.
Edit: never mind, I just remembered that Mary Sue fucked everyone over by changing Red Hood’s fate so that she would die at the age of 20, so whether she dies in Ending H or not is a bit irrelevant.

Once again, I couldn't save.
This is honestly the best game I have ever played. Its gameplay isn’t balanced nor good, the art is messed up (but it’s perfect at the same time), and overall it’s pretty bad in my perspective who has played a lot of new gen games so far.
Although there is a big difference between them, Black Souls is a far better game when it comes to telling a story. A very unique premise that makes us question ourselves.
Then, one thing that is important about this game… are the emotions and feelings that made me realize that this game is telling a story of despair. No matter what we do in life even if we fight to the bitter end to reach our goals. Our happiest, saddest, and bittersweet moments will all end at some point. In the end, we end up with nothing. A feeling that fully encapsulates of a desire being fulfilled, of finding the truth and moving on.
When it all ends, our loved ones leave us or we leave them. Truly, being a human is the hardest thing to deal with. Love won’t last, the world that you see won’t last, the universe won’t last, everything won’t last…
So we move on and lament this undeniable truth that is present throughout all sentient beings. TCO tried to deny it, but even she couldn’t stop the inevitable nor Mary Sue, Prickett, Node, Mabel, and Grimm.
Same exact thoughts brother, truly a masterpiece of an hgame.
I'd say the artstyle is what makes the game charming
That's what I like about black souls the fight will never be fair as the garden (world) is never meant to be fair it's twisted and the art is bad. But that what makes it so good because those flaws makes the world building even greater and shows how much of a hell Grimm's life is. The imperfection is what made the game so perfect.

I want to voice my opinion on a game for the closure of Grimm's tale:
Instead of the action packed adventure, let the closure be like Omori's real world. Let Grimm grieve, cry and lament for sometimes. Let the story be slow to show us we're nearing the end of Grimm's storybook. Let a new character, a neutral/good god or person help Grimm to let go of the past(excluding trying to help Alice) and see the present and look out for the future as he only has one life. Let the endings go up this time
E- the worst way Grimm could cope with red hood passing
A- the best ending for Grimm's life
For the A ending, let Node help Grimm for the last time, creating a new female, one that love Grimm, based on Red Hood and Alice. Let the girl not affected from Mary Sue's curse on Grimm. Let the requirement for this ending to be exploring the remnant of memories of BS1 and BS2 and completing a final request and finally putting Mary Sue down for the final time.
We can discuss how to make a better game for the ending tho
