Excellent Review! I have a '23 SE LT+ (Canada) same colour and this is such an underrated bike. Plenty of power, features, range, storage and most importantly comfort. Perfect "versatile" bike (as the name implies) and enjoying every km on it so far (8,200km since May). Keep up with the channel and look forward to more reviews. Cheers!
Thank you for your review. May I make a few comments? #1 The gap in the screen reduces downdraft on the rider and pillion, and turbulence behind the screen. It works very well. #2There are four riding modes on the SE: RAIN, ROAD, SPORT and RIDER (can be tailored to individual requirements) #3 The TFT screen also has a cool coloured option, much nicer than the black/white display you used #4 As you say, the QS is excellent, but only when used properly above 2500 rpm. So many reviewers get this wrong. #5 You didn’t mention the PRELOAD function for solo, pillion and + luggage riding #6 Also remember that this bike has lean angle sensitive ABS, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), Bluetooth and cruise control I’ve had mine since 2020 and it is a hugely under-rated motorcycle. Put a BMW or Ducati badge on it and it will cost 25% more but won’t do the job any better. Also remember the poor reliability records of the so-called “premium” brands.
Hi Joseph, thank you for your comments. In case of the QS we indeed didn't mention that. As for the rest, thank you for adding your insights. This really helps us to create more accurate and complete informtaion for future videos. This bike is, in our opinion, indeed a awesome machine. Glad to hear you are enjoying yours! How many miles have you racked up in those 3-4 years? Kind regards!
I love my Versys SE. A great touring motorcycle. My wife is also enthusiastic. If I want to be sporty and ride with speed, then I go for my ZH2 SE. But then I ride solo.
Veilige ritten toegewenst!
Nice review. I have one 🥳 and I traded mine Versys 650 in. What you are saying this is a different animal 😁. I’m 6 feet 4 so no problem with flat feet’s 😉. Keep up the good work!
7k on my ‘22 1000. Just got home from a 1200 mile trip through Kentucky. Longest I’ve done on the Versys. Is it an ADV bike, no, absolutely not. Is it a touring bike, no. But, re touring and hwy miles…it’s doable, with some mods. Added a taller, wider, windscreen and hwy pegs. Holeshot Corbin seat. And used my Giant Loop gear bag loaded up, strapped down to the passenger seat, as a backrest. Near perfection. 7 hours at 70+mph down and back. No problem. Fantastic bike for spirited twisty riding. I’m 54. When I got this bike told myself I’d finally get the spirited ride out of me and then transition to a Goldwing. Don’t see it happening, this bike is just too much fun.
Hey! Glad to hear you are enjoying your bike! It sounds like that was one hell of a trip. We would love to do some longer trips on this bike as well in the near future. Ride safe!✌️
Great review mate. Enjoyed it. Recently there were just very strange colors available for the Versys, but with this one... it is really elegant and I like it. A lot of bike and it is a 4 cyl bike. Got my like bro. Take care and drop by, you may like my content.
The red color is indeed very elegant! The green is also a very nice option, it really gives that Kawasaki vibe. Thanks for the interest! We will certainly check out your channel 😉
The test drive I felt was that it was too low output for a liter, and it was too unstable at high speed. Quick shift also had a very bad shift. Gasoline octane seemed to be affected a little, and there were cold-shipping RPM down and engine-off, which were the deadliest.
Hi, we are sad to hear that tou didn't quite enjoy it as much as we did. Did you find anither bike that was more to your liking in the meantime? Thanks for your comment!
In India I was planning for Versys cause this is a litre class and smooth on throttle, but they unlisted the bike from the official site.Might be new version will be released next year. Main doubt is that i am 176-179cm and will am i able to ride it properly?
Indian site has de-listed the Versys 1000 and my local dealer told me he can only give me 650 for the test ride@@2WheelTalk . I am checking into another state. And India have only one the basic model
Had a test ride yesterday , liked the bike very much, however the quick shifter was awful and felt like it was made of sponge, wouldn't down shift at all. Chassis felt weak, strange feeling like the wheels weren't connected, used to own a 650 and it was the same. Currently own a Crosstourer, totally different class, far higher quality and stronger feel.
Sad to hear you didn't like the bike as much as we do. Every bike does have it's flaws. We would love to make a review one day of the Honda Crosstourer. It looks like an awesome motorcycle!
@@SemiDad Yes, unfortunately (for the folks in some countries) the insurance companies are reaping bikers mercilessly off. Here it's the small bikes and big bikes. Do you get you gear from Crome Burner supply? I got my helmet from them.

Hi Tom, we are based in Belgium so we don't have that shop here. We get most of our gear from MKC Moto. Great store for all your motorcycle needs.
