You put in great detail into the video dude, loved the review. I race in Queensland, and have had my Tony Kart from May 2021 to present and I’ve loved it ever since. As far as bashing an axle goes it takes a good 30 minutes, but I’ve been experience in changing and trying different stuff.
Thanks Paul, I'm currently waiting for our test track to be extended and resurfaced. I am in talks with all of the Australian importers, to try and test all of their karts. We will hopefully have some different karting content as well.
Very underrated Video. I was driving a Friends Tony 401R (I usually drive an Italkart Laguna, from the IKF range) and it felt very loose and couldn’t get to grips with the handling and the softness due to me being used to a very stiff kart. Btw I was running a Vortex VLR in both.
I loved the Tony Kart but I was never able to get the feel I was looking for out of it. It felt very soft and like I was always chasing the setup. Birel fit my style better and had a lot more success. I will swear by the MXC rims though, I run them on everything
Where do I get one? Cause on tony's website under any product there is no "order" button or anything. It's just the description. Am I doing something wrong?
@@vitalkarting that is with a hard axle, 1400 and short hubs. Will try stiffening the front bar tomorrow when I'm out testing. Seat stays on or off you think?
The 401 RR (2022) has a reputation for having a very soft chassis, which is why in the UK A LOT of people have changed from OTK in 2022 to other brands of karts from say their 2020 - 2021 OTK set ups. OTK have also removed the small indicator mark on the chassis on the tab under the air box that shows which frame jig was used when being welded in the factory. I wonder why…….. Also becoming common recently for people to swap the OTK Nassau panel for the KG, as it has better aerodynamics. Plus it’s a hell of a lot cheaper to replace if damaged.
Thanks for watching and the comment. OTK parts in general are expensive, I really like the new KG bodywork. It helps that is cheaper as well. What tyres do you run in the UK?
@@eeeagan4933 nothing, the otk plastic can only be wired if you are in double sleepstream or if its windy, you will loose a bit grip on the front if the wind is touching the NoseCone in a bad angle
@@vitalkartingbloody oath! I’m looking forward to it! Ive been looking at Arrow, OTK and KR. I’ve been out of the scene since 2014 and looking to get back into it.
We tested the karts on the same day, with the same engine, tyres, weight, gearing etc. It was as fair as we could test it. You are right, there are many variables and it is a hard one to test.

OTKs are very nice, I hope you're having fun.
Fantastic review between two of the karts that are on my mind. I've noticed you haven't uploaded in 3 weeks. Please do more! You've earned a sub.

Great videos so far. Really appreciate the info and like the objective approach. Keep it up!
Thanks for watching, new reviews coming soon.

Thanks for the feedback. The TonyKart is very reactive to change, so with a few minor adjustments you should be able to get it just right.
Brilliant video mate, love your work
Thanks Team Sandrone 🙏

Hi Mate, where are you located?
Can't buy it from the website only local dealers
So where is the link?
I love the OTK steering wheels. Trying to find one in right colour scheme for my Compkart
I think your best bet will be the Exprit steering wheel, as it's black.
When will you review the BireArt Ry30
Hopefully in the new year
Hopefully in the new year 🤞
Thank you mate this is awesome!
This is all you mate. Thanks again.
Hey man you said you’ll put a link? Where can I find it?
Did you have the same fuel in the Tony and arrow, when weight Them??
We ran the same fuel and weight the same on the scales. Thanks for watching 👀
Hi mate,
Any chance you know the seat position measurements you had in the Tony kart please?
Thanks in advance
1050mm from the left kingpin to the middle of the seat (TonyKart Style measurement) and 5mm below the chassis. I'm 6 ft fyi.
@@vitalkarting Thanks Leigh. I'm 6ft as well and have some issues with hopping in the 401rr. I will recheck measurements now.
Appreciate the reply 👍
@Chris Prestidge try a harder axle, 1400mm rear track and maybe a stiffer front bar.

Another great video. We’ll done.
Thanks 😊
Mind me asking what geometry you used on the front mate? Great videos, keep the m up
Overall - 2mm negative camber, 2mm toe out, central castor. Thanks for watching.

What tyres do you run in the UK?
Mojo D2xx for Mini / Junior and Mojo D5 for Senior.
How much do the kg and the otk plastics affect times?

What other brands are doing well at the moment
Good review! I’d guess the weight difference comes down to the missing bearing carrier on the Arrow 6.1 and the plastics?
I think you are 100% correct. Thanks for watching 👀
Hey sorry what engine are you using? Thanks
Hi, we are using the IAME X30 engine.
Thanks for watching 👀
Great video mate, but which batch of tires 😜
No idea, is there a fast batch out there?
@@vitalkarting there is definitely a slow batch 😂
It looks like he has on leVantos
Just wanted to know what arai helmet model are you using?
I have the Arai SK-6.
@@vitalkarting thanks i was confused because you have hans anchor on it
@@therealf.b.i9468 they are stuck on, I used to have a middle vent to make it look like a GP6.
@@vitalkarting you just drill it in?
What seat do recommend for the 401rr
We used the Tillet T11t. This would be a good video idea 💡
What is the price of a Cart ?
A new OTK kart starts at AUD$6490 for the rolling chassis.
Please do the KR / FA / WPK chassis next!!!
Hey Chad, that is our next review. We are just waiting on the kart. Thanks for watching 👀

Ive been looking at Arrow, OTK and KR.
I’ve been out of the scene since 2014 and looking to get back into it.
We have the DAP kart up next (KR) then the new Arrow X6.2 and many more in the works.
Good to see you back, where will you be racing?
@@vitalkarting I’m from Wollongong NSW. so club level around NSW to begin with.
@@vitalkarting wait… there’s a 6.2?
You should try a kart republic
Hopefully in the new year🤞
We need more man
Coming soon, the track is nearly finished and karts are hard to come by...
I will just say the otk could of been quicker on the same day as the arrow or even slower

It would really depend on what type of kart you feel comfortable in
my parents said if I crash it,I have to quit racing forever as they can’t afford to fix the kart 😭
Stuff these euro karts, let's keep it local. i want you compare x6 to x6.1 please
I'll see what we can do.
You should try brm
If you can get one to me, I'm all for it. Thanks for watching 👀
KR Next 👍
We hope to get one in the new year 🤞
I had one,but crushed
My problem is the money
