running the motoz adventure rear, and tubles dual venture front on my 2024 over in saskatchewan. after a trip into bc with mixed back roads and twisty pavement..... two huges thumbs up after 4000km!! one thing that I noticed is the fly by wire throttle has a high amount of resistance. have some renthal large diameter very grippy grips that helped, and the cramp buster seems to take care of it.
I'm getting the Dunlop trailmax mission for my 800de. Got 200 miles on my 23, just did the airbox modification and plan on doing a cat delete. Also, I want to get my ecu flashed. I'm in the US so there are a couple options avail for this. Happy riding! These 800 de's are a very underrated motorcycle. I'm not very capable off road so this bike does way more than I'll be capable of doing for a while yet. Thanks for the video. Cheers!! Edit: 2000 miles lol
For me the only thing missing apart from the factory cruise control is Tubeless wheels...do you carry all the equipment necessary to repair a tubed tyre?
@@Jacklacasse Thanks for your reply...Tubed tyres is the only thing that's stopping me from buying this excellent bike. At the age of 71 the last thing I want to do is to try and repair a hard walled tyre in 40C temps in the middle of an Australian dessert!
Hi there, love the video. I bought that buy new last week. Already got 1000km on it, love the bike. I love the skid or engine protectio plate what you made. But cant you buy that on the Suzuki website for like 40 euro? Anyways, I am thinking about taking my bike next year to Norway, any recommadations or tips? Greetings, Jothan The Netherlands
Hi there!i m thinking this bike, among transalp and tenere.but becouse where i live we have hot summers,i m considering the engine heat.many rewiewers mention that this bike makes much engine heat.what you say?
I've noticed more heat coming from the right side of the engine but only when temperature is above 30 Celsius. This past July was very hot where I live so yes there was more heat on my right leg but only at low speed. For me it was acceptable because I really like this bike.

That's weird that your throttle has high resistance. Mine has almost none. Something must be wrong with your setup.
