Focus. It refills automatically. You can also find runes that affect focus regeneration. There's only three upgradeable attributes: health, elf shot and focus. If you know what the bars for health and elf shot do, then surely you could've figured out what the last one did :)

Hey there, to doom an orc be sure he isn't immune to curse then use a cursed weapon (or have ally captain with cursed weapon OR grunt with cursed weapon) to last hit him and that curse element will slowly chip away it's health and if it last longer till his final hp then he will succumb to it thus die as "Doomed".

Hey there, wow I'm sure there're smugglers everywhere ALSO we have orc literally titled the smuggler and let's not forget the neutral orcs, dwarfs, elves etc who willing to go extra miles to get these money. Take the real world for example, doesn't matter how tough and danger those countries are (NK for example) people still willing to risk the danger to do business with them.
