    My hair color:
    This a custom color job, created by a stylist at a salon, using a professional system not available in beauty supply stores and which requires a valid cosmetology license to purchase--no I do not know the name.
    Bleach was not used. We have been lifting my hair lighter and lighter over time using developer (which is not bleach) since October of 2015. I will not post a video on how to color because I am not a licensed cosmetologist and I will not give directions on how to use chemicals that I do not have a good understanding of. If you'd like help with achieving this color, please consult a LICENSED professional who specializes in natural hair because coloring will alter your hair and can damage depending on your texture and the process.

    The mane choice vitamins are the only ones on the market that don't break me out, don't upset my stomach and I can visually see a change in length and thickness. I've been using off and on for a year and before that I had used all kinds from the ones sold at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, the vitamin shoppe alladat lol rly good stuff. And I'm not a UA-camr or anything. Just a regular chick who agrees with you that their oil and vitamin combo works!

      The S Curl Activator spray, As I Am Doublebutter cream, and Bronner Brothers Tropical Roots Growth Oil have been a miracle for my 4c hair! My hair is soft and, for the first time since my TWA days, actually feels moisturized. The As I Am cream is a little pricy, but any shea/cocoa butter cream should do. I just haven't tried anything else bc I don't want to risk it lol

    So glad you did video and what AMAZING timing you have! I haven't even finished watching it all yet but wanted to thank you so much for this! I was literally looking at this line of products, and a few others, online last weekend bc I was planning to try something new on my 9yrolds hair when I went to the store this week. We currently use Kinky Curly line, since she was about 3ish, which I absolutely LOVE but they don't have any products for growth, that I know of. I try to only use natural products on her hair. So a friend brought her Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor oil Leave-in-Conditioner but we haven't been using it long enough to judge any growth results yet but as a detanglier it works well on my daughters hair.(but I still love her Kinky Curly Leave-In)I try to only use natural products on her hair and The Mane Choice line was one of my Main Choices(haha) that I really wanted to try for growth. But my issue with it was I have very limited funds, since Im unable to work from a car accident I was in few years ago when a 18wheeler pulled out infront of me, and I didn't know anyone that had used them before. So Its so helpful, and great timing, to know that these did work well for you. Before I spent the little money that I do have on something that didn't work. So thanks again so much I love your channel!!

    My hair was the same length for 2 years and I said man it's something I can do for it to grow bc these monthly salon visits aren't working. It was stuck between shoulder and armpit length and always dry 2-3 days after washing or straightening it. One thing I wasn't doing was deep conditioning. Everybody and they momma was saying deep condition deep condition in like every video. So last year I decided to deep condition weekly and my hair grew to BSL. I cut it back to APL in January bc of heat damage and straggly ends. It's almost back at BSL right now. Never experienced that kind of growth ever and I recommend dc to anyone

    Great video! I love tingling feeling on my scalp because it opens pores like scalp scrubbing I think. I've been loving and looking for MSM in Vitamins and I even found it in some hair products meant to grow your hair too. Tfs 💕

      breane hawthorne some products life the hair w/ ammonia... i believe thats whats in the dyes that my deva curl stylist uses... but if you have curly hair make sure you seek out a person well versed in curly hair when it comes to dying!

    I never knew my hair was the length it was until I got my blow out in October. Now in January 2018, I decided to go to the tube and I found your channel and I have no clue what my hair type is it looks like a 3C , 4 A and 4B but in certain parts. I am confused and I order from Curlkit and never use the same products but that's going to change after watching you. I manipulate almost daily so Im stopping that and you showed me how to do the style I love. My hair was dry, now the high p and it keeps the moisture. I Am getting A protective Style To Grow Out My Hair More And I Am Going To Keep Following You Because Your Teaching Me A Lot. Can You Direct Me To Your styling Videos?

    Either your hands are small or their bottle got way bigger. I have a couple in the fridge but I can't seem to stay consistent with vitamins. But, I agree 100% when I started caring for my scalp my hair flourished. Also staying consistent with my fitness routine helps as well. I need to pick up their growth oil. I'm going to Protective Styling for a couple months and I think that will help my scalp while it's braided.

    I have question. I am seeing growth in my hair and only style my hair once a week. I think I do a pretty good job with taking care of my hair. but every wash day I see tiny pieces of hair breaking off, is that normal to see some breakage?

    • @DayeLaSoul
      @DayeLaSoul  7 років тому +20

      +Tameka Stennis some breakage is bound to happen because no ones hair is perfect, but if it's enough to cause concerns, check out the links in the description box for some causes and solutions.

    • @DayeLaSoul
      @DayeLaSoul  7 років тому +1

      +Tori Williams thank you! I haven't used them, so I can't say but I don't see why it'd be problematic outside of friction but if you're lining something between it should be fine

      Daye La Soul Yes I line my hair with a protective cap...thanks for your honest opinion...I just started with the head wraps, but been doing wigs for years...my hair grows so much the less I manipulate it....
