Seriously, I feel like most customers would get this for like $50 minimum. I feel like those kinda deals are the ones only high-volume customers get, which helps make it quite a joy getting to vicariously live through robs collecting opportunities with these videos.
$20.00? I think you did great. The cut Mercury dime looks like it used to be an ear ring. I remember back in the 60's to early 70's they used to sell sets of ear rings like that at the store. My sister had a pair dated 1944. Great video Rob.
I found a nickel yesterday in the dirt. Almost didn’t pick it up because you couldn’t tell what it was. Got home tried to clean it. Dirt just wouldn’t come off. So I got a great idea 👍. I put some vinegar in a bowl and left it there for awhile. Until I took it out I had no idea what the composition was. The Nickel was gone but the 75% copper was still there. I had to look in my Red Book. Not a nickel collector. ✌️
I searched 20 dollars worth of nickels and found one war nickel. Searched 4 rolls of half's and got a 90 percenter and a 40 . First time seaching. Thought that was pretty darn good.
Great deal on the bag! I found a 1918/7 D nickel using nic a date a while back when I bought a roll of dateless mintmarked buffalo nickels - about a $250 find
Hunts with a random bag of coins is always fun - and that was a great score on that buffalo nickel - even if you had to nic-a-date it. I definitely think you got your money's worth and more out of it.. Another great video!
Just a note: The 1 Peseta coins aren't from 1966, the actual date of the coins is inside the star next to the word "UNA", for example the one you showed at the 14:17 mark is from 1971
That was a great purchase...sounds like someone was just looking to get rid of them...the price sounds like what you would pay for at a flea market or garage sale!
The random-coin bag hunts are interesting for the variety (more so than pure box hunts) of coins seen and information imparted about them; figuring value is cool but secondary (imo).
Love these types of videos. Found a 1942 20 centavos from Mexico in a $50 bag of pennies! Silver in a penny hunt. Best find in 2025 so far. I think ya did pretty well for $20 on that one.
You got some nice finds in this junk lot. Besides the silver, the 1864 CN is a better date Indian cent. Then there's the 1913-S II Buffalo Nickel. All in all it was worth it.
Nice bunch of coins Rob! I didn’t see any date on that English 1 pound coin. I couldn’t get any pennies today because my bank sold them all to the grocery stores😭.
Nice finds! Hard to say what value would be, for me anyway. I would probably spend more than the $25 you originally assigned the 1913 Buffalo Nickel if it would complete my collection. But again, that's just me. Looking forward to seeing your next hunt!
Have you ever found a 1976 d-dime that front is off center? or a silver 1964 d-dime that front is off center and the word 'we' missing 'in god we trust'?
hi Rob and happy new year to you and yours ,question i have in my possession a nickel to be exact a 1964D off color i believe it to be a black beauty is there some way that i could send you a picture of it so you can see for your self if it is or not the real thing?? hope to hear from you soon M M
By the time your done with UA-cam ad revenue and auctioning off what pieces you want to your subs you’ll do even better I think you’ll 5x your money no problem.(even minus your time involved in making it). I love seeing the bargains you get from your coin dealers they are usually great but sometimes they are extraordinary like this one congrats and thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼 P.S. do the silver coins go in the silver jar???
Good Luck selling that for what you think it's worth I don't see the value mostly junk in very poor condition. But still Fun, The search can be everything sometimes

I just sold a 1913 D & S nic a dated for $50 for both. Great video
Does using nic a date make the coin lose some of its value
Interested in 13st2; I sent you an email
You made your $20 back several times over! Nice Job!!!!!
Nice haul Rob thanks for sharing.
That was fun. Nice score. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!! that was fun.
I think you got a great deal on that bag of goodies Rob 👍
Wow! Very nice purchase. Congratulations!
What a hoot and well worth the time. I think you evaluation is fair and a little low. Nice diversion!
only $20! what a steal!
Seriously, I feel like most customers would get this for like $50 minimum. I feel like those kinda deals are the ones only high-volume customers get, which helps make it quite a joy getting to vicariously live through robs collecting opportunities with these videos.
Stolen indeed
*LOL! Exactly what I was about to comment!*
I love mixed hunts. Keeps my eyes from crossing!

Looks good so far...
THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO.
That cut out merc is s a cool idea for a necklace

Great video, Rob! Great value!!!

Great deal on the bag! I found a 1918/7 D nickel using nic a date a while back when I bought a roll of dateless mintmarked buffalo nickels - about a $250 find
Excellent purchase and finds! I would love to get a key date buffalo nickel, even in that shape! 😋 😮
Pretty good deal! I would've gladly paid that considering. You definitely got your money's worth. 💖💯
Money well spent , fun hunt
Hunts with a random bag of coins is always fun - and that was a great score on that buffalo nickel - even if you had to nic-a-date it. I definitely think you got your money's worth and more out of it.. Another great video!
wow nice Another great coin shop buy!! thanks as always for sharing the fun of the hunt, knowledge, and finds
Let's have fun!👍
I saw the silver war nickel while you were initially looking at them.
Good deal Rob! Thanks for sharing! Happy Hunting! Stephen
Great video nice junk drawer coins nice 1913 s Buffalo key date thanks for sharing Rob
The Austrian coin is silver 64% if I'm not mistaken.
Nice!! A fair value. I have some undated buffaloes. I need to watch your nic-a-date video to see if I have anything special.
The random-coin bag hunts are interesting for the variety (more so than pure box hunts) of coins seen and information imparted about them; figuring value is cool but secondary (imo).
Cool that was awesome 🎉🎉
Love these types of videos. Found a 1942 20 centavos from Mexico in a $50 bag of pennies! Silver in a penny hunt. Best find in 2025 so far.

Awesome find! Nice job!
These are fun to go thru (and watch) thanks Rob
Wow!
Great vid rob. Always gotta love foreign silver
very nice wish i could find a bunch of those deals lol another fun video brother
Spot on Rob!
Great job Rob 👍

No problem with the video length.😊
I agree with the $70
nice buy!
Now that would have been a great grab bag for 20 dollars
Fun video, Rob. Think you were a bit optimistic on some of the values.
Havent seen the load, but i can tell its a sweet deal.
Good stuff
I love finding randoms! The only problem is selling them. Do you have a tip on selling low value coins? Coins in the 1-5 dollar range.
Nice!
Wow great 20 Dollar investment
Sure do enjoy your videos keep up the good work and I think it's fair on your price on the coins😅
Great video!
Nice finds! Hard to say what value would be, for me anyway. I would probably spend more than the $25 you originally assigned the 1913 Buffalo Nickel if it would complete my collection. But again, that's just me. Looking forward to seeing your next hunt!
Fun video
In Philadelphia, it’s worth $50 bucks!
Nice change up vid!
You did good and it was constructive to see. Fairness was the name of the game for your valuations.
Fun!
I would buy a bag of coins like that for $20 all day everyday. $100 worth of fun!
GREAT
Can't get mad at that😊
Looks like a steal for $20 Rob. I agree, but probably on the lower end of $50 - $60 in my opinion.
Have you ever found a 1976 d-dime that front is off center?
or a silver 1964 d-dime that front is off center and the word 'we' missing 'in god we trust'?
I’d definitely pay $20 for a 1913 s. they’re too expensive!!
How's the weather?
Snowing! Businesses are shut down. No banks today and likely tomorrow 😢
Can i buy a buffalo or a pre 1940s wheatie
hi Rob and happy new year to you and yours ,question i have in my possession a nickel to be exact a 1964D off color i believe it to be a black beauty is there some way that i could send you a picture of it so you can see for your self if it is or not the real thing?? hope to hear from you soon M M
For $20.. BET!!!
👍

Holy crap
✌️
Boom
BOOM! 💥
Hey Rob, would you do a smelting video of you melting down some toasty 90% silver coins to see how the bar turns out?
There are no sterling silver regular issue US coins. SOME early Canadian 5 and 10 cent coins were made out of sterling silver (.925).
@ Sorry… 90% not 92.5%… Editing my comment
wayyyyyyyyyy too much emphasis on value.
Exactly. Those IHCs are like 20-50 cents all day long….
The Mexican money street Tacos tomorrow.😂

Good Luck selling that for what you think it's worth I don't see the value mostly junk in very poor condition. But still Fun, The search can be everything sometimes
Exactly. Overvalued everything in the video but still cool to find.
