  • "When Joe Breeze hand-built the first modern mountain bike in 1977 Breezer became the world’s first mountain bike brand. As a life-long cyclist who has raced on the road and in the dirt, as well as toured all over the world, Joe has dedicated his life to making bikes for every level of rider. 40+ years later, Joe hasn’t stopped innovating. With all of those years of bike-building experience, Joe continues to make bikes with one goal: Deliver a bike that has a light & lively ride quality that will put a smile on your face every time you head out the door for whatever adventure you choose." - Breezer Bikes (that's Joe in the cover image).
Mark of Breezer Bikes walks us through the Adventure Series line up - Inversion, Doppler and Radar. As a bonus, I film one of Joe's personal road bikes circa 1979, and one of his hardtail mountain bikes, circa 1992.

I've been doing adventure riding for over 50 years and I didn't know it was "adventure riding" until 5 years ago. Never thought about it because it wasn't required but now I'm getting very specific. I'm into Gravel Bikes.

Great video. Can't decide between the Doppler Cafe or Radar Cafe. Want something I can load up with gear and be comfortable on-road and some modest off-road. The only thing I would do is change the bars to something more comfortable on longer rides.

I've run 27.5x2.4 Schwalbe Super Moto tires with fenders and racks on my Radar. Did a weeklong your and it was very comfortable. I haven't ridden the Doppler, but I don't think you could go wrong with either of these bikes. Super Moto is a great on road and off-road tire too if you're looking to change out tires after purchasing!

@@scrooge1913 Ended up with the Doppler cafe and love everything about it. Put on a Jones bar and switched the rear light to a smaller seat post one I already had. Going to run the stock tires for now. I'm coming from MTB so I'm so glad I didn't go with the drop bars. It's amazing how underrated and off the "radar" these bikes are, especially given the history.

I brought a breezer radar expert a year ago and I love it. I go everywhere work, training and bikepacking. Build for a purpose.

Wouldn't a machete be more use in case the road gets too overgrown? Always something new!

Or extreme hike-a-biking when you have to cut a new path haha.

It didn't fit on my fork! I gave it to the husband because my bike was too small....😅

What crankset are they using on their radar models (46/30)? Their website says it's their own but is that correct?

Tires generally dont squeal but bearings can and brakes cans make noise but the radar pro brakes are not problem.
