The only difference is I just use a bucket and leave some water in it so the mice can't jump out and drown (use engine anti0freeze in the winter - just an inch will wet them so they can't jump out and they die pretty quick). Can't really live trap when you're not there for weeks at a time.

I see you've put your mouse trap you made a few days ago to use with a new bucket rolling log one on top XD (You know, the tank one)

Just get a door spring, attached to bucket handles on side with a slightly larger piece of thin plastic or metal pipe over the door spring. Put peanut butter or anything in the center, it spins on spring and does same thing. Put a couple inches of water in bucket and whoolah. Easiest...

Looks like I could just set up a mouse wheel fair ground in the shed ,they were having so much fun I doubt the house would look so appealing ,in fact quite boring in comparison 😀

Cute Sean. You forgot to add a the little hut for the mice to hunker inside. Poor things are stuck out in the wide open Mouse Paradise with nowhere to hide.

Its funny how they love food so much that even when he is making them get out of the bucket, three of the six mice stop for a second to smell the corn cob, before making their getaway. 😄

0:15 It says, _"The trap works best during the new moon."_ That's interesting. Why would that be? Are mice more active when the night is darker?
The exercise wheel gets a lot of use. I wonder, do they use the wheel _because_ they're trapped, or would they use the wheel if it just appeared in the barn on its own?

It would be cool to rig up a dynamo to that wheel. Might as well get them to earn their keep.

Try connecting a small generator to the wheel. See how much power the mice generate in a night...maybe light a small LED bulb.
