Love the video dude good job. That heritage is my favorite motorcycle of all time I wish I could afford one. But for now I'll stick with my Sportster custom.
Great video subject. I've seen a lot of everyday carry (EDC) videos and images, but your's is the first I've seen of saddlebags. One other item you might consider is a small first aid kit. I keep a small bag with stuff like gauze wrap, tape, few pain meds, wipes (I think you have some of those for glasses) and something I can use as a tourniquet if needed. Would like to add a suture kit as well. All just in case I have to do something before help can arrive. Do you always wear the switchback jacket when riding? If not, will it fit in one of the bags as well?
Thanks Mark, just trying to do something unique on UA-cam. I do always ride with the switchback jacket. It helps keep the sun off me so I don’t really need to fit it in the bags. The only time I don’t ride with it is if I leave the office for lunch and only go around the corner, in that instance I just leave the jacket in my office.
Sorry Fill My Crack In, Hair gel is a real thing. I have a job which requires me to look presentable. Part of that requires me to travel with stuff that lets me clean up after riding in 100 degree + temps. Also, my helmet cost $400, keeping hair gel and sweat out of it is important to me. Sorry if I am not a stereotypical dirty Harley rider who could care less about my image. I am not trying out for a roll on Sons of Anarchy, just enjoying riding in between my busy life. Sorry if this was long winded but I cant stand comments that pigeonhole people into stereotypical motorcycle groups . I love riding, and I like looking presentable in the office since that income is what allows me to ride the bike I ride. Can’t have one without the other. Thanks for watching, couldn’t tell if you were just busting balls or serious so I figured I would share my thoughts. Ride safe, keep the comments coming!!
You forget rain gear, first aid kit with pills and cpr mask, flares, kevlar rope, knife with seat belt cutter and glass breaker, blanket, head light, refill clothes, vhs radio and satellite phone.
gypsy rotten Then call me an assman. I love Arizona. I come from Western New York which is buried in snow and below freezing for 6 months out of the year. I love Arizona. I don’t have rain gear becuase when its raining here, it is typically a massive downpour accompanied by wicked lightning and dust storms. I don’t need to ride in those conditions when 75% of the year is great riding weather. Thanks for watching!!
Great video...I just bought one of these bikes a month ago, and i am loving it! I really appreciate the video, sir!
How are you liking the Heritage so far?
Please help me find an inner bag like yours has. Is there a custom fit inner bag for camping. Just lift out and bring into the tent.
Well done video. I have been looking at getting a Heritage Classic and wondered about the bags too. So, thanks.
No problem. Glad I could help!! Also, The heritage is awesome!!
I have the 2019 version of your bike.. you still have it?
Looks like a green screen behind you. Where is this and what time of year!? Love the video. Great info!
Lol. No green screen. Scottsdale in the fall.

I cant believe all of that stuff fits. I thought the bags were small looking
Yeah you can get quite a bit of stuff in there. Its not as good as a Street Glide but its acceptable for a daily commuter.
I swear I have driven near where you are right now
I love that spot.
What TPMS are you using?

Love the bike! OK video, but multiple comments about your hair gel, come on man!

Being prepared is hilarious
full coverage will take care of any paranoia thoughts of getting your bike stolen.
I have full coverage but I still don't want to get my bike stolen and go through all of that headache.
no rain gear ? I guess you don't need any in the asshole of the world Az.
