Hello Dr . I have an acl tear on my left knee , what graft should I use to replace it ..allograft or autograft .. ? Autograft Patella tendon I wouldn't take bc my job requires to work on my knees. So I'm thinking hamstring autograft or allograft. What would you recommend me Dr?
Thanks for your info sir, it is very useful. My acl was completely torn 6 months ago now I am fit again and back to my base ball sport and 6 days intense workout and I am able to manage them without problem. So if I continue this way is my knee going to give me a problem in my 40s or 50s (now I am 27), please give me your response. :) Thank you Mach

Generally I'm a fan of autografts because they have a lower failure rate.
