    With respect for Father's expertise in psychology, and a nod to the common assumption that "anorexia" means "anorexia nervosa," I'll point out that in medical terms, anorexia just means "not eating enough," and it may be for legitimate physical reasons. For example, if someone is taking a medication that decreases appetite as a side effect, the medical notation "anorexia" doesn't point to a psychological diagnosis. And that brings me to request prayer for the repose of the soul of W.L. "Stick" Stickney, who suffered medical problems that cause him to suffer anorexia. A lot of people thought we called him "Stick" because he was so skinny. He did try to eat enough, but he had to be reminded. Today is his birthday, the first since he died 3 months ago.
