Riley not knowing about villager's insane defensive pressure on the court and ability to space the floor is very upsetting as a big fan of the mayor. Not even to mention his amazing ability to pocket the ball which will rack up his number of blocks and steals on the statsheet.

Dignan’s basketball knowledge and skill is just unparalleled. He even taught me to shoot. Haven’t missed a free throw since. A lot like how Diggy didn’t miss back in ‘96. Lotta headshots.

I just wanna say thanks to Graydon for his high school hoop mixtape. I watched it before every game to get me hyped back in the day and it helped shape my game. My favorite part is when he assaulted the ref for calling a charge. Inspirational.

I think you both severely undervalue the clown. The clown is in control. No one knows what a clown is thinking or even what they're going to do, but the clown is never surprised. Also, underrated athleticism and versatile. Will balance on three stacked bowling balls one minute, pile into a VW bug with 30 of his friends the next. Not to mention the craftiness. The clown is the star of that line up.

Comment is probably way too late, but one woman played in the NBA. Can’t remember her name, but back in the 70s I believe the LA Lakers (maybe?) hired a woman who used to play Iowa 6vs6 basketball. It was mainly a publicity stunt, but it paved the way for the creation of the WNBA

Pop: Riley takes it 112-89 due to Bruno's showtime, Ariana's sharpshooting, and Mayer's banging down low.
Smash: Graydon takes it handedly 134-68, it looked like a bunch of NBA players playing against high schoolers.
Hosts: Graydon slightly edges out Riley's squad 99-96 with clutch play from veteran Oprah.
Monsters: Graydon once again edges out Riley 106-104 on a buzzer beater layup by the Jackalope.
Emojis: Riley's superstars took over and won 101-88. The guard tandem and solid role players were just too much to handle.

Riley’s Cryptid’s synergy is their downfall- the aquatic combo makes them a MENACE at home but to the detriment of the lep and forcing the griffin to become a one trick aerial threat. On the road those two can pull out their layers but the other 3 look like fish out of water by the 4th

Idk if this is just known in the UK. But it's a well known fact that Adele is South London (Brixton) raised, tough and is no stranger to a street fight. She will bully players on the rebound.
Game 1: Graydon win. All star MVP JB is gonna go on a carrying mission obviously.
Game 2: Graydon win. No real weak points and good all around both on defense and offense.
Game 3: Riley win. Graydons team's isn't really compatible with eachother, toxic locker room. Gonna end up trading the stars Oprah and Conan for future picks and run it back next year.
Game 4: Riley win. Honestly this really just gets down to the size difference. Also game 4 just happens to be at Riley's home court and the aquatic conditions aren't good for the land based away squad.
Game 5: Riley win. Really built the pre- Kevin Durant GSW. Cash money Curry in the 1, cheeky Klay at the 2. Harrison Barnes at the 3 is decent, although still into his young career and isn't quite good enough for the other's standard. Draymond at the PF position originally was predicted to be just ok but as the season progressed he evolved into one of the more crucial players. Then at the big spot there's andrew Bogut who's constantly carrying painful injuries.
Graydon ends up blowing a 2-0 lead to Riley, who wins the series with 3-2 in a best of 5 matchup, appropriate to his old school 80's mustache.
really unhappy with graydon’s choice of the sphinx at the 3, sphinx’s are notorious for giving challenging riddles, probably the smartest creature he could have drafted. wasted pick, imagine having this generational 1 fall into your lap and using it as a 3 😒. disappointing team management

Graydon's Smash team is great, but an incredible opportunity was missed by not putting Ridley at the 5. Dude is massive.
i just had so much with this format- i’m literally dumb as shit when it comes to sports, but this was so fun to watch - pls do this same kind of “building a team out of random ass shit” format again- so much fun
okay but villager was criminally slept on in this shits:
1. carries an axe - not gonna break your ankles, he’ll chop the bitches off.
2. a shovel - acts as an arm extension for defensive purposes, the swats would be nasty.
3. a vaulting pole - boosts his jump height by like 7 feet immediately.
4. a ladder to get the ball if it gets stuck behind the rim :-)
5. a fishing pole - can’t think of how this would be useful but you might be able to pluck a scoring shot from out of the air if you’re good enough with it
6. the biggest one: a net. he carries the net. if you get him the ball ever, 2 points instantly that the team can’t defend from.
we’ll just have to see how it goes on the court

I remember when I thought I saw a Jackaloupe 10 years ago, but it turns out that Graydon was just glueing twigs to Petsmart rabbits and releasing them into the Canadian wilderness
Kraken seems like a great pick, but his lack of mobility on land would definitely hurt the squad - especially playing in the NBA. He'd be hit constantly with the defensive 3 seconds call. I think his skillset is more suited toward Europe where he'd be a big candidate to win MVP and DPOY, probably an all-time great
