If you sit on a cold surface and there's a draft and you have a wet hair and you are eating something cold, you are 100% guaranteed to die.
Ain't that the truth!
Cura nakon tuširanja sila na ladan kamen mokre kose
Babi se bore za život
😂😂😂👌
Truth!!! Garanteed
Everywhere in the world the draft is harmless but in Croatia its a number one killer according to all grandmas ever.
🤣🤣
Indeed! Propuh are very dangerous thing! 😂👍
Also in Italy! Bozza!
Not only draft, but if your shirt is too short to cover your kidneys, you'll die within 2 days. And also if you sit on concrete.
Idk why so many Americans get so amazed by our windows lol (im Croat)
Nisi mu trebala napisati da si Hrvatica, biti ce ljubomoran jer imas prozor na kip... pozz!!
Hahaha
Yeah idk why either. They have them in other places in Europe too but never seen them in the states
They're actually German invention. I was so surprised by americans being surprised by them 😅. Just assumed it's a normal window everywhere
I am a serbian.. Same thing haha
It's nice hearing you talk about coaitia 🇭🇷
Wet hair is no joke dude 😂😂😂
Wet hair is one of the most dangerous things in the world. Going out with wet hair is from my point of view suicide and I'm serious.
Most of Croatians are proud in their city because every bigger city has their own soccer team.
And most of them are total miss
@roko fašen misliš ako kažeš da ne woliš
Am from Krapina, you should really visit an area called Hrvatsko Zagorje, it is a place with awesome food and culture and some of the friendliest People.
Mi sme si navek bili dobri z hrvatima
Je, tako ima i 2 sela jedno pored drugog i ljudi se ne razumiju...
@Jenny Lake that is so not true...
@@antoniomagdic1529 hahahah
KAJKAFSKE Zagorje!
The windows you will find all over central Europe & Scandinavia. They are the best thing.
Americans are amazed by our windows:)
Hi Tristan! I am from Croatia and I will try to explain to you where you are wrong.
1. When a person finishes some craft school, such as hairdresser, carpenter, car mechanic, if they know they craft these people earn more money than those who finish high school and college.
2.When you order water in Croatia, you will get plain water. I have not in my 40 years of life experienced someone asking me what you stated.
3. In Croatia, vacations last 10 to 15 days, at most.
4.True, You were right about this one.
5.The small sinks you describe are mostly in hostels or apartments for tourists. In Croatia we have signs for bathrooms of normal size.
I personally and everyone I know prefer the big ones.
6.The truth is that most windows in Croatia look like that, You were right about this one.
7.Croats don't go out with wet hair when it's winter outside, because they would catch a cold just like an American would catch a cold when he went out in the cold with wet hair.
8.Croats are a proud people in every way. You were right about this one.
9.True. You were right about this one.
10.Croats leave their homeland for other countries not because they like it, but because the economy is a disaster and because there is a lot of corruption and economic crime
well written....
100% correct
Correct,10. i have been living outside of the country for 5 years, Ireland and Germany not because i liked those countries but because the pay is better, but I'm back now again and i don't miss those countries, the money is bad but life here is much better
Not sure about the water. When I order just water I automatically get mineral water without pointing it out.

Great to see another video! Keep ‘em coming!!
Fun fact: everyone is more multilingual than americans
What languages do you speak
True 😂
@@mateoscarycat17 why?
@@dora8253 because you making comment and generalizing entire country so I would like to know how many languages you speak.
@@mateoscarycat17 I speak around 9, I understand more though 😊
Informative, thank you!
One day you should visit labin not biggest place but there is some greate things if you come to croatia again
Thank you for both videos. They are superbly done!
Glad you enjoyed them!
I like singing bathrooms.
La la la....!
1:10 never show that hand sign in Croatia for number 3. Ever :D
Also, Croatian dialects are like different languages. I believe that people from Croatian islands or Dalmatia (region) don't understand people from Zagorje (other region) when they talk with their dialect
Ćakavski, kajkafski i štokavski su tri JEZIKA!
Great vid
Keep it up Tristan
You were spot on! Great stuff
So glad!
The most interesting are little differences that only foreign people can notice. Like gloves or windows. I bet there are many more.
why does every video likes this has to mention flipping windows😂😂😂
About that not going out with wet hair it's because sometimes here in croatia it gets cold and for me if i go out with wet hair i catch a cold but not a bad one i sneez alot and have to blow my nose alot it's just a croatian thing we love to be safe 😁
There are few things that aren't completely right, but still very good video.
Being able to see how different your home growing up life is so different to the countries that you have visited has given you that education aspect and knowledge that your able to share here with us. Fantastic video as always and yes I do miss listening to you talk😃😃😃
Thank you
You forgot that there is Economical and Technical school
both of those are vocational
Actually if you go to the specific type school you can go to college but only for that group of colleges that is connected to that school
I love hearing about the differences between the US and Croatia! I think those windows are so cool!! 😃😃
Once A/C became widespread across the country, Americans lost interest in window technology.
Also we don't lock our windows or doors while we are close to the house, only if we go out of sight of it we lock it before we go, also not all people but alot sleep with the doors unlocked as well, yeah i know, safe country
Vacation time is not 4 weeks you can barely get one week vacation
And everywhere in europe you can open it on both ways
You can also go to college from vocational highschool gymnasuim is usualy for people that wana be doctors chemical engineers, dentists etc.
@Jenny Lake ??
Croatia has more than 4 months of school holidays
💜💜💜💜
Pa ovo je čudno ti se čudiš za naše prozore mislim wow
2:39 What about Boston?
I am from Croatia 🇭🇷
Lol, All of the Balkans have the wet hair superstition....supposedly you will get inflammation of the brain if you go out with hair. No-one has ever been able to tell you what that inflammation is but they are convinced it happens 🤣🤣🤣
Hahahaha
Never heard of that until going there
Wet hair, sitting on concrete, walking bare foot and wind drafts can all kill you!
Actually, you can get inflammation of fhe facial nerve (can't remember the name), but not meningitis or cold as they say. It's very rare tho
@@barbararodin4604 I got that shit. Grandma was right all along.
💕💕💕💕
Im an croatian and i didnt know about this merican stuff
Again the window topic
3:04
yeah bcs if you speak Croatian you can also speak Serbian and Bosnian..(those are very familiar, btw there's more)
1
yaaz gworl~
The wet hair thing is just a grandma scare for kids
And when you catch meningitis you will see why we dont go out with wet hair
And...do you like Croatia?
“Bathroom sings”
I dont think you can compare the two they are completely Different Countries.
0:23 the highschools r gimnazija (opća and matematička), tehnička, ekonomska, medicinska, turistička, etc.
Tristan, this might be interesting to you - here's a short list of Croatian inventions (either fully Croatian or heavily influenced by Croatia in some way):

Thanks for sharing
I thought that Nikola Tesla was going to be claimed as Croatian as he was born in what is now Croatia but he wasn’t ethnically a Croat but rather a Serb.
@@chrisk5651 The place where he was born belonged to the Austrian Empire at the time, which eventually became Croatia. But he was of Serbian descent. One might think of him as Serbian-Croatian-American :)
@@timelord2222 just because we were under austrian rule doesn't mean it was not Croatia, just like Serbia existed before the Ottoman Empire, it didn't disintegrate when turks came 😂
2:53 dont even start
The only reason that these two vids did well is cos Croatia is a small country and everyone loves being recognized in a small country
The wet hair is cause in Croatia it's windy very often, and specially when it's cold, going outside with wet hair may result in you getting sick. The rumors about the face freezing is to my knowledge a very rare case when the cold does something to your neurons which distorts your normal resting face a bit or something.
The biggest difference is that we want our state with croatians only, we say we dont often but every union in wich we entered to was breaked by us

The Croatian side of my family is from Perušić. I can't say that there's much said about it. Then again, it's pretty tiny.
My family from my dad also from Perusic
@@mrspinner2588 I wonder if we are related? The place is tiny. My family left around 1900.
Hi i ilve in Croatia but we don't have 4 weeks of hollydays we have 3 month's.
Yes, 4 weeks is the legal minimum though. There is no legal minimum in the US. You could get 0
That's trhue
3 months? What kind of work are you doing to get 3 months??? 2,5 to 3 month most of the time have the school kids during summer.
Ja di god sam dobila posa u ugovoru bi bilo 21 dan.
@@Niki91-HR he is likely a school kid xD

My friend, you are too young to feel rheumatism, weak kidneys and sinus disease. I hope you will live long and prosper but one day if you start to feel those things remember your wet hair and cold surfaces where you sat when you were younger. Body remembers..always..and one brief story..for example ... One of many events .. I was out with friends and we drank and had fun until late at night. I fell asleep under the window in the room and did not notice that the rain was falling through the window carried by the wind over my head. The next morning I couldn’t turn my head. the stiff neck lasted for a week. explanation? Grandmother knows. never underestimate the power of drafts, no matter which side it comes from
That is not hard to do first one we are poor you are rich , second you are world police we are on the world mercy also that 4 week is myth and it was like that in Yugoslavia
In serbia you have middle school not elementary school and middle just middle
Who cares? The video is about Croatia. Take your complexes somewhere else.
😁
Local pride is a big thing, ZADAR JE NAJBOLJI !! ZADAR JE SLAVAN!!! ;)
Being mutilingual is a thing of maybe roots where your family comes from, maybe just out of respect to others beacuse not everyone know Croatian language
Its common to know even a little bit of Italian, German, Macedonian, even Polish and myb French... Ofcourse English... Russian..
Yup.. And if my grandma is right.. if you run.. and get hot.. drinking cold water or anything cold will fry your lungs...
@Jenny Lake no shit...lol
The last one, sadly, is mostly because of the state of our economy, corrupt politicians and not much perspective.
Yes 😢
yep, that's really sad "Zna se"
Also comparing it to the states. USA almost makes up the whole continent. Ofc you don't move abroad as much as us Croats considering Croatia is tiny 😅
And that's why I shave my head...
1:11 NO YOU CAN'T MAKE VIDEO ABOUT CROATIA AND SHOW THREE LIKE THAT. not cool...
Really really not cool😠
Bruuuh
3:02 yeah we all speak Serbian,Bosnian,Montenegrian and english
@Jenny Lake wdym
8.Very prideful in their city
AL NEĆU DA ČUJEM IŠTA NIŠTA KONTRA SPLITA!
y-know croatian and like 4 other languages have litearly same language maybe there is 4 different words between all of them lmao
There are major differences in the languages, for instance serbian has entirely different words for all animals and plants than croatian, we write (cro) in latin letters, serbs in cirilic letters
Ok...From EVERY sceret my country ceeps for turists to explore...EVERY SINGLE ONE...The are speaking about the mother f@*-ing WINDOWS!!!!🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷
We Croats love everybody.
Right Serbia and LGBT?
3:04 as a croatian you basically just know 3 languages cause bosnian serbian and croatian are pretty simular
Number 10 is becouse of too big taxes and very bad and dumb politicans
Yeah, I wouldn't make fun of a wet hair... Ignorance is bliss 😂😂
There is a huge reason why we love our cities so much. How old is the oldest city in the States? Your civilization is 300 years old only… Think about that for a start. My last name originates from 15th century in my hometown. Origin is important for us. Croatians settled in this region in 7th century, which is 2400 years old civilization. So, your roots are maybe not that strong as ours are. ;)
ljudi nemaju normalne prozore, lol
If you don't wear crocks, you are no croatian
In whole Europa is so. You dont know nothing.
Remembering Jasenovac😔😔😔
