"Unite with thousands of players" and the video actually shows six people together. Fair representation of the game, as there currenty are about 5000 players online over about 50 servers, whereas there used to be up to 1k PER SERVER. Great job CIP, great job.

I fucking LOVED this game. I played it for 3-4 years or something and the best character I had was a lvl 70 paladin or something :D
Probably 10% of the time was leveling. The rest was training skills and interacting with everyone else running around. I could still name like 40 players or something who I was playing with even though this was around 13 years ago. I remember the adrenaline I had when someone suddenly attacked me while hunting and I did everything I could to survive, that was intense and I enjoyed every second of it.
I tried coming back to the game with a couple of friends a few times hoping that something changed but literally every dungeon is filled with botters. People also have crazy high levels now. Back in the day Bubble was the 1st one who reached lvl 200 sounded insane for a normal player.
Also they should have given the PL and BR players their own servers because at some point the whole server was filled with PL/BR players. Not that those were bad people, but they had absolutely no english skills at all and all you got out of them was "BR?" "PL?".
I will always keep Tibia in good memory though, had a great time.

Tibia forever. 32 years old and still playing it.
What the trailer doesn't show: They banned and deleted about 90 % of their players for botting, where probably around 50 % of those players were loyal since the start or a long time back at least. The game went from having like 100k+ active players to around 10k. They merge servers as they empty out more and more, handing out double exp weekends like candy etc etc as acts of pure panic... Not to mention how they literally piss the more exeperienced players in the face while spending all their time making it easier for noobs, fucking up the PvP-system, which was the one reason most people even played from the start.
This game was something great once. Full of players and activities, great wars, quests... Not any more. Cipsoft really fucked their shit up due to lack of respect to the real players.

+pesoff Is it wasnt for the bots, I wouldnt be playing tibia at all. I retired in 2013 when the swap system came out, it was bullshit, I just played for wars and dominate servers and WE, the botters and the war people, were the ones who payed most of the premmiums in Pvp-servers. I used to have 10+ acc all with premmy for almost 9 years and I know alot of fair players that have just 1 acc and that is all. So WE made the game to last until now and we still do it. Nowadays I just play in retro-pvp, not like i used to, but i have 3 active accounts with premmy. And dont come here, so claimed "fair players" to say I am wrong, because I have been here since 2004, have played in a long list of servers and have seen it all. Sorry that the truth hurts, but it is how it is.

Nah. They could just use someone who's fairly familiar with the composition of music and make something simple. You don't exactly need a setup like the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The music in this clip was very nice!
But it's a game. A game without sound is never to be preferred in my opinion. I don't think money is an issue to these guys. haha
+Winter Chan Although Tibia have it's charm, Cipsoft already passed the time to add some music, and like TheSwedishCruiser said money isn't a problem to them. Digital musicians aren't that expensive and would do a very descent job, not to mention that soundtracks and sound effects are very nice to promote more immersion on the game.

Good idea to launch a trailer but I would've enjoyed to see some community related things like a quest service, a meeting and casino in someone's house or even sharing stories with a couple of fellow adventurers in town.
Besides that there are way better examples of PVP, war, quests and even hunting out there than shown in this video. These are the things that make Tibia stand out from other MMORPG's and I feel like its full potential doesn't come forward enough in this trailer. Other than that, nice video and great animations.
Cipsoft, you should also show the basic hunt places and the zombie-players (bots) walking around. You should also show the frustration so if someone reports bot, he remains not banned after a few months. You can't kill/trap bots because Cipsoft supports them - can't heal or rope monsters, can't block players a normal way. (rumors saying that Cipsoft is selling bots for their own game)
