@@CinemaMikey You’re doing a fantastic job, especially for someone who only started three months ago! Keep up the hard work, the quality is already there and it’s only going to get better with time! Looking forward to seeing more of your content 😊
If you remember that scene in Skye's house where she's chased by many people, then she gets a hand down her throat, that should be the moment where everything is happening only in Skye's head (the hospital, driving the car, the freezer). Before that, it's mixed reality, as you've mentioned. After the throat thing, the Smile demon is under control, until she becomes lucid again, finding herself on the stage. Then the demon takes over completely and kills her. Indeed, the ending was quite something. I am curious if they'll do a Smile 3 where the demon takes over many people at once.
Mmm... but didn't she see her best friend before that chasing dancer scene? It's actually tricky if you dig deep. I think it all starts from the moment she went to bed after witnessing the death, not sure.
@@CinemaMikey Yes, she starts hallucinating after the death scene, her best friend was definitely not there. But she was actually in her room and stuff like that, until that 'hand down her throat' scene. That was the moment she blacked out and then she become lucid again on the stage. Every scene in-between was just in her mind. As the demon says before she becomes lucid 'This isn't real', something like that. :D
The main character was so unlikeable that I couldn’t really care what happened to her. The jump scares had me jumping, though. 😂😂😂 When the dancers were in her house it was creepy and hilarious.
The "smile demon" ultimately sealed his own fate. Yes, he did it in front of many witnesses, as there wasn’t a rule limiting it to one person at a time-thus increasing his chances of being overpowered. Imagine if one of his victims were already a psychopath, suffered from dissociative identity disorder, or had a deeply disturbed mind. When the entity enters someone like that, it can't twist what's already twisted or break what's already broken. Rather than simply curing or defeating the demon, who represents deep trauma leading to insanity into suicide, there are people who manage to live with their trauma. The demon doesn't immediately destroy its host because it needs time to build them up-it isn’t about playing with its prey or following rules. The demon can be trapped in someone who doesn’t fear it.
That's a valid point. But considering how intense the "smile demon" is with his victims, even those who are already brutally traumatized in live will be caught of guard. His methods are extreme. You cannot even tell which is real or not.
The sequel movie would have been great if she defeated the demon because Naomi Scott was outstanding and she was much better than the actress in the first movie. I wish she would defeat the demon.
@@TheODLawson23 I agree, Naomi was really good, never thought that she can act like that. I guess the writers are aiming for a sequel that’s why she was not able to defeat it. And I wonder, what would be the best way to defeat the demon that would satisfy the fans? Hmm hopefully the next one will not be a let down.
The creepy smiles set the tone in the movie. I would have to see the movie again to see the ending due to the fire alarm in the movie theater. I did not understand it at the time and probably need to check it out again. Since not much coming in theater this week, maybe I take a chance to watch it again to see the ending. After Venom 3. How are you doing today and how your day?
@@CinemaMikeyI’m hoping that the ending is actually a hallucination and she ended herself in the freezer in front of Murray, because I don’t see how a third film works if a ton of people are cursed. The world will realize something is happening. The first two stories work because it targets someone with trauma, and then people think they are just losing their mind. If 10,000 people who all witness the same public event all go insane and off themselves, people will know something weird is happening. I don’t really like that direction. I kind of hoped she would win and end the franchise. I don’t want to see them run this into the ground with a bunch of sequels.
I watched an interview from the writer and director, and he said that’s the direction he was looking at. He even mentioned what if it was lived streamed. The ending was predictable for me, but yea, that’s interesting if the ending was also a hallucination.

Thank you. That means a lot, I just started the channel like 3 months now, and trying to learn everything, even the editing 😊

@@user-xd6nc6rg7b I actually liked that scene with the dancers, it was funny but crazy creepy. It was creative.

Dang, fire alarm in the theater must be scary. Yea, planning to watch Venom 3 this weekend also. I have not watched Venom 2 though.
Maybe Louis did see him get hit by the car.
I thought the driver of the car might get it.
That is a little strange.
Yea, that’s really strange. Like, Louis getting it was superficial, and was not explored. But I still liked it. :)
