Mufasa: The Lion King... is better than you expect! Ignore the Haters.
#Disney #thelionking
Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King explores the legendary rise of one of the Pride Lands' most beloved kings. In this live-action prequel to 2019’s The Lion King, we follow Mufasa’s journey from orphaned cub to iconic ruler. Told through Rafiki’s storytelling to Simba and Nala’s daughter, Kiara, the film introduces us to a young Mufasa, a royal heir named Taka (Kelvin Harrison Jr.), and their dangerous path toward destiny. With stunning visuals and heartfelt moments, does Mufasa roar as loudly as its predecessors? Or does it play things a little too safe?

Mad props to you for giving an actual opinion, and not just parroting the same presumptive things like so many other 'critics' on the internet.
@@patton3338 I think haters just like to watch a movie close to the original, they want to experience the same feeling. But Mufasa is not bad especially if you have not watched the trailer. I got the full experience by not watching it. :) and thank you.
@ bro, I actually agreed with you.
@CinemaMikey Ahh your right, I see you said the trailer, I thought you meant you didnt see the movie at all, my mistake
How it going today and how your day? So I hear mixed emotions about this movie and I am not sure if I want to see it. Which is why I come to your channel and maybe you can sway my opinion. I dont mind if they want to do remakes but I hope the movie don't derailed off the railroad track. I see you doing pretty good with the editing. How long does it takes you now for editing alone.
Haha. In hindsight, I think I liked Mufasa because I haven’t watch the trailer nor the 2019 version. To make a video without being sleepy and gather my thoughts takes me forever that’s why it’s only 4min long. Procrastination is also my big enemy.
@@CinemaMikey 4 mins of great content is good enough for me. You make it work somehow.
@ i’m no where near your content because you are funny.
I absolutely and for sure disliked this movie! Though I did enjoy seeing naked bodies, of course. However, this film for me was challenging to follow and creepy in certain scenes. I did not enjoy it at all! I especially hated the end starting from the scene in the woods all the way to the rest of it. Pointless!
haha the frontal scenes are crazy, hispanic guy got a massive one. 😂
@ I fully agree with you! The frontal made me tingly lol 😋!
I saw it. I liked it a lot but agree that it is challenging to understand on first viewing. But I'm not so negative about it as you. Remember that the drug was intended to augment telepathy, and it seemed to me that what Lee heard was Eugene's unconscious struggle with his identity and denial of his sexuality. I assume that's why he ran away. Lee brought something out in him that terrified him. By the way, in the epilogue we see Eugene aging and dying in misery. He never recovered from his love for Eugene. I hope the movie eventually is streamed. I'd like to see it at least once more. Also, I plan now to read the book. You mentioned the excellent acting of Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey--with which I completely agree, but you did not mention the truly amazing cinematography. It was beautiful. Also, as with many metaphorical stories, perhaps there are many perfectly good interpretations. By the way, I could say much more about this film and its interpretation but based on the comments below I'm not sure my additional comments would be appreciated. I would say that this is not a movie for someone who's looking for an upbeat story. It's a tragic story of homosexuality in the early '50s and the struggles of two men--one older and one you--dealing with their sexuality at their respective stages of development. It's sad and realistic.
Thank you for this. Queer is not for all. I met people from a movie group that really loved it and I’m the only one who said it was ok. Nice take on that Lee is hearing Eugene unconscious struggle. I can’t remember it very well but did Eugene verbalize it or was it just telepathy.?Yes I agree with the cinematography, as expected for Luca.
@@CinemaMikey I think that the reason the public rating of the movie is 5.9/10 is just as you describe among your movie group. Some loved it and some did not; and some hate it. LOL It aligns pretty well with those who are more artistic and associate thinkers vs. those who are more linear in their thinking and prefer concreteness. The latter group has a lot of difficulty with movies (or books) like this. Regarding the speaking vs. telepathy, I don't think it matters. But, as I recall, it was telepathic. That's the kind of detail that I would like to attend to in another viewing. As the movie progressed with so much happening, it was challenging to observe every detail--particularly not knowing at the time how important it might be.
@ yea, I think he said “i’m not queer, I’m disembodied” twice. One was telepathic, and the other one verbally before they went to bed. A friend of mine from the movie group mentioned that the movie resonated with him because he was born during the time when lgbt was not well accepted.
@@CinemaMikey Let me expand on my "review." This is an excellent movie in so many ways. It is well written, the acting (especially Daniel Craig and Drew Starkey) is superb. The cinematography is phenomenal. It definitely represents the lives and the psychology of gay men at two very different stages of self-acceptance in the early '50s. So, why is it so divisive? Why do some love it and some hate it? I think it has to do with a few things. First, there are people who are homophobes and hate queer movies. Not sure why they went (LOL--yes, I am pretty sure, at least). Second, it has a lot of metaphors in it. People's brains tend to be dichotomous as to whether they are linear thinkers and like movies in which everything is spelled out for them OR they are less concrete and more associative thinkers and like the many interpretations of metaphors. Of course, it's really a continuum, but these are the extremes. People at the first extreme (more concrete thinkers) would hate this movie and not understand its true meaning. Those at the other extreme probably would love it. As you say, it's the story of a gay man in middle-age (former military) who lives in Mexico. He's a drug addict, which likely represents the misery he experiences as a gay man in the '50s. He says he's in Mexico because his drug habit would get him imprisoned in the U.S. Remember, though, this was the era of McCarthyism, and his homosexuality also may have gotten him imprisoned--as a "communist"). So, he lives in Mexico and is seeking a meaningful gay relationship. Unfortunately, all he finds is superficial hook-ups. He sees and becomes infatuated with Eugene, a younger man who is struggling with his queer identity and is unable to accept it. Yet, he is drawn to Lee, the older man. This sets the stage for what is to occur. The part that I think really confuses people and is off-putting for them is Chapter 3 with the telepathy augmenting drug in South America. This is the metaphor for the struggle that Eugene is going through, knowing that he is attracted to men, specifically Lee, and denying his own homosexuality. Lee "hears" the thoughts of Eugene during their drug intoxication, "I AM NOT QUEER!" Ultimately, Eugene runs away in an effort to escape his sexuality. And Lee lives on alone, lonely, and grieving over the loss of Eugene, and dies a miserable death. Whie the movie has a hit of romance; it really is a tragedy of two gay men who are at very different stages of their lives and unable to connect in the early '50s. That is my assessment of the movie.
Strait bro does not get the assignment
haha don’t punish me.
Was Eugene even Real? The whole film was a david Lynch.David Croenenburg drug trip-and cool
Woah. This is a new take away, that Eugene might not even be real. Hmm. But he interacted with a lot of the main characters though.
@@CinemaMikey true, just a theory-maybe the others were real and Eugene was a face in the crowd that he saw once..and became obsessed? You reviewed it honestly-good job.
@@deckard97I read from a Luca’s interview that it’s actually Eugene who saw Lee first, not the other way around. Like what… and thank you. :)
I've recently watched the movie. I agree with you on the first part. The movie builds on this idea that Reed found some true ancient God (and religion), but in the end it's just a ruse, because true religion is actually about control. That was a bummer. About the ending, I don't think Paxton ever left the house. If I remember correctly, when the sisters arrive to Mr. Reed's house, it's raining. When Paxton gets out at the end, it's snowing. I think Paxton actually died in that house and all that 'Barnes saving her' was just in her head right before she died. The snow at the end might be what the prophet said (it's clouds, but not actually clouds, something like that). That should be the afterlife. And the butterfly is a symbol of the butterfly dream theory.
Dang, now that you mentioned about the rain, then snow, maybe you are right. She died at the house. And the idea that Barnes was in her head is a possibility. Nice catch.
@@CinemaMikey Not really an original idea. I was confused by the ending, I wasn't sure if she died or not, so I looked up an explanation that kind of confirmed my theory. :) Overall, this was a good movie, but not great.
@@Ynook I kinda expected more from the movie, true good but not great.
@@CinemaMikey By the way, have you had the chance to watch Boogeyman? :D It's also with Sophie Thatcher.
I have not, but I will try to watch this long holidays. :)
I never thought I would be so bored at the cinema. I left the theatre halfway through the film. Daniel Craig's character was so unbearable. I couldn't stand it. But I wanted to know the end of the film. Thanks for the video😊.
I could not blame you. At one point I was also bored. I think I’ll enjoy it more if it was a conventional movie minus the metaphors. 😊
I liked the first two scenes, but the jungle scene and onward was confusing. Call me old fashioned, but I would have preferrred a more conventional ending, in which case, I may have given it a higher rating instead of a 6 out of 10.
Yes, we have the same thoughts. I like the more conventional approach. It’s likely because the ending was so odd, looks so forced with all the metaphors.
The movie is based on a book by William Burroughs. There was nothing conventional about Burroughs.
It's about the writing i guess but for me it was a decent movie not that bad as friggin rotten tomatoes or who based on that review before watching the movie lol
@@musikaempeetree4049 Good that you enjoyed it.
I loved the acting of kit the way he played his role was very intimidating and very beautiful, but the movie had so many stupid events. Like the grandpa was able to beat him when he was sober and he impaled the grandpa when he was drunk, slaying the goats if not a werewolf ect ect being able to smell so good the fragrances on his daughter ect
Agree. Kit was kinda effective in one scene, I think it was when the daughter and him was sitting at the back of the car, and he snapped. He looks creepy there. Yea, so many stupid events that don’t add up if you think about it.
It's a decent action movie. My wife and I both enjoyed it. I don't get the hate, it's not awesome but it's serviceable.
Yes, I think the bottom line is if you enjoy it because that’s what movies are made for. In my case, I was just seeing so many mistakes while watching it, I can’t help but noticed it especially the editing and the dubbing. I must say, they have some neat fight scenes.
You should not do movie reviews
Ouch. But thank you. Can I ask how can I improve?
I disagree. You should keep doing movie reviews. You did a good Queer analysis.
@@cabroncitoist I agree. Mike does a good job.
@@CinemaMikey I have to say that your review helps me a lot to understand this film. I have been watching different reviews in UA-cam but your explanation makes much more sense to me at least. Thank you.

As others said, Benitez is not a woman, but a man with a uterus & ovaries (intersex). He was raised and lived as a man. The Pope accepted his decision to not have the operation, which is why Lawrence accepted it.
How are you doing today and how your day? There a reason rotten tomatoes gave that rating and I totally agree with them. Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Russell Crowe were the only two stand out in the movie. They could not save this garbage. Calypso was just there for a paycheck, Rhino want to bully people like he in high school, The Foreigner counts like he like Count Dracula from Sesame Street. It was all over the place. If I have to rank the MCU spinoff. Here are my rankings Venom 1 Venom 2 Madame Web Venom 3 Kraven The Hunter Moribus
@@TennisReaperCinema-vp7bw hey man, just watch your review. Making a video, and editing takes me forever. I agree with you-the movie is a total mess, with lots of poorly edited scenes. I also agree with your ranking, putting Venom 1 at the top. I didn't even bother watching Morbius because of the bad reviews.
@@CinemaMikey The editing is a nightmare when it comes to these reviews. Its take me about 3 to 4 hours based on editing alone. Sometimes I have to take a break because of it. You did the right thing not watching Morbius. You would have walked out of the movie theatre but I rather get tortured and watch bad movies. Fantastic review.
How it going today? I have to be honest on this one. The first half of the movie was flat out boring. Basically he was having PTSD trying to find his way out due to his sick twisted game. It got interesting when Saleka got into the picture after the show. For her taking a risk like that was pretty bold. In the end, I felt like I was trapped and could not find my way out of the movie theater.
Thank you for your review. When considering the scene with the glass shot off the head and killing Eugene, note that Burroughs shot his wife in the face similarly in real life.
@@jfabiani Yea, I actually read that, but that scene looks so forced to me. Luca incorporated that scene to reflect a real story from Burroughs life but didn’t really blend well with the story. :) What was the meaning of that?
@@CinemaMikey It was one of the more baffling inclusions. Burroughs was haunted by the act (rightfully) so many this tied into the self loathing he suffered. I just saw it yesterday and am still pondering it.
The movie is also too long for me, and I felt it. If they could have edited it more, or remove some metaphors that felt forced, maybe I would enjoy it more.
@@jfabianidid you liked it?
I always understood that Maximus and Lucilla had a relationship before their respected marriages and that Lucius was slightly older than Maximus' son despite Lucilla saying they’re the same age. You gotta take that quote with a grain of salt. Lucius looks older and that’s why I never believed they were the same age.
Maximus being reunited with his family in the end of Glad1 gave the audience a sense of closure i. However, with the new idea that Lucius is Maximus's son, it changes the meaning and, in some ways, diminishes the impact of the original story. It looked so forced.
@@CinemaMikey Don't get me wrong, I didn't like the sequel. But I do think that Lucius being Maximus' son is possible without him cheating on his wife. I also think that Lucius being his son doesn't diminish the impact of his death too much because he had no idea he still has a son. To him, he is reuniting with the only family he knows. I don't mind the idea of Lucius being his son, but the execution was badly presented and I simply didn't like the sequel as a whole. Was I entertained? Not really 😂.
@canuck21 same here, the scene where Lucilla was in the middle of the arena and Lucius was fighting for her, it looks off. And also the ending, when marcinus was riding a horse away from the city knowing that there are soldiers coming. 😂 but some fight scnes are good though
How it going today and how your day? I heard this movie was pretty bad. I am just here watching your review to confirmed my theory. Man I feel sorry for you for watching it. They should give your refund back?
@@TennisReaperCinema-vp7bw it’s not the worst. But not worth your time.lol
I disagree re: the butterfly. I think the butterfly has to do with Mr. Reed talking about The Butterfly Dream - the Taoist tale about a man who dreamed he was a butterfly and when he woke up, wondered whether he was a man dreaming he was a butterfly or a butterfly dreaming he was a man. I think we're meant to be unsure as to whether or not Sister Paxton actually died in the cellar or whether she escaped.
@@gabigale ohh I missed that taoist tale. Nice point. And yea, I was also thinking that Sis Paxton died. Kinda ambiguous ending.
I just clicked on the video to know why Anthony Mackie is a bad actor. Whhaaat? 😂
Are you excited about the new marvel brave new world? Are heard it’s bad. 😫 Hopefully it’s fake news.
What you said is true but he isn't a bad actor. The other main character is an A list actress and she didn't act her best too. I think the directors were only concern about getting famous actors and didnt make them act their best. I didnt get to finish the third ant man movie as yet for the same reasons I mentioned before.
I only knew her from Deadpool. I agree with getting famous actors.

Back from vacation to see what have I missed on your channel. How are you doing today and how your day? I am going to be one of the few people that like the movie alot. The one thing that caught my attention was the scene with the sharks. I know it may or may not made any scene but I like the creativity. I know it probably did not happen in real life but it was one of those scene that was odd.
Bro, I’m just being too lazy making a video. I watch 3 movies today, and can’t even start recording a video 😂
@@CinemaMikey Hey, it happens sometimes. Sometimes being lazy is a good thing. No shame in that. 😆
There is absolutely NOTHING in the first movie that even hinted that Lucius was his son, it makes absolutely no sense... It's completely out of character, now they made him dishonest and an adulterer, and also a tooI who is totally oblivious to this possibility. And for some reason she never told him, another nonsense. No one ever suggested this bs, not Lucilla, not Maximus, not Commodus, not Marcus Aurelius (his decision to leave the empire to Maximus and then to his 'grandson' Lucius is a completely different context). Not to mention Maximus ultimate reunification with his family, but if he has another (living) family, the end of the movie is so pointless. No, it's just total bs created for this cringe parody 'sequel'. What's next - Maximus was Marcus Aurelius' real son? And Commodus was Proximo's real son lol
I agree. The story looks so forced. Maybe they can’t come up with an original story line. 😂
You're absolutely right. Thanks for pointing out that Lucius being reunited with his family gave the audience a sense of closure. However, with the new idea that Lucius is Maximus's son, it changes the meaning and, in some ways, diminishes the impact of the original story.
@@CinemaMikey I know it doesn't really make any sense at all it's just unnecessary
@@olechristianhenne6583 but I won’t deny, the scene when Pedro Pascal first came across mescal from the ship, then slow mo, I got the hype watching it.

@3:12 my other comment aside, not all sharks require salt water (Bull Sharks for instance swim quite happily into fresh water) They would have taken them from the Mediterranean sea (where sharks do live already) But as per my other comment, there's no evidence that ancient Romans knew what a shark was
Ohh. Good to know that bull sharks can live in both salt and fresh.
Sharks False. Water real! Side note a lot of great generals and emperors died in Rome rather good or bad that’s how politics, collusion, conspiracy works during that time. I challenge you to watch videos on Roman history a lot of the movie is false to squeeze as much in one story but definitely happen during that time throughout there hundreds of years of different rulers. there was a time they had 5 emperors at war. Most of this movie was very true! Even the real Macrinus sent his son away in fear of him being killed. I agree the plot was generic but the events are pretty much all true at some point in time.
Hmm true, the history might be brutal, but, it still doesn’t explain why Lucilla did not look for his son. He might not be killed by emperors but he might die with hunger or what not.
@ bro they would literally kill emperors kids in fear of people conspiring against the bloodline why go find him when for she for one don’t know he’s alive and for 2 she barely in good standing with the current emperors maybe after her and husband was successful with there plan she might’ve looked for him. That’s all very common and true

I’m watching it today. I’m excited. :)
To be fair, back in the Roman Empire, there was much fornication back then like sister and brother you describe it. Pretty sick but it was the norm. Even if we took history class in school, the romans was doing some interesting things to say the least. You do make a good point that he could have more than one child. We would never know unless they make a third one but I doubt they will make a third one. I could be wrong.
Bro, youtube is hard. I’m tired already hahah. Just watch Gladiator 2, and I’m kinda underwhelmed. Expected so much from it.
@@CinemaMikey I understand and yes youtube is a pain in the neck. You work countless hours trying to make the best content you can based on your schedule and its rough. Sometimes you feel like you want to quit all together.
To be fair, you are so wrong, very ignorant generalization about Roman society. For example, ever hear of stoicism? Marcus Aurelius was well know stoic. If you watched HBO Rome (not perfectly accurate, but still a great show), one of the main characters was Roman centurion Lucius Vorenus, very conservative, traditional, patriarchal guy, kinda similar moral code as Maximus. There is a scene when he rejects Cleopatra because he is loyal to his wife in Rome; his best friend is not so moral lol... the point is: you can't say "fornication was the norm" for every Roman, rich, poor, urban, provincial, different historical periods... not every Roman was Nero or Caligula. Different people had different values, same as today. Maximus character was portrayed as a man of honor, great morality, honest, family values... so this bs is completely out of character, just cringe writing.
Wrong, wrong, wrong. Benitez is NOT a woman; he is intersex. Big difference. He had lived his whole life as a man and did not even discover that he also had female reproductive organs until he had an appendectomy. Also, there is NO implication that this has anything to do with homosexuality. Being intersex is not a sin; it is a biological condition. Cardinal Lawrence understood that and knew that it did not change who Benitez was a person and a priest. He only chooses not to reveal it because he knows that many, including yourself, would not see it in the same way. This medical condition should not be considered a scandal so why are you portraying it that way? Cardinal Lawrence takes the right and Christian action by not revealing something that ultimately is not relevant to Benitez's ability to serve as pope.
Mmm. If it was not a scandal, then why did the pope who died wanted the surgery? Why did Cardinal Lawrence hid it to the public? The people deserve the truth about the new pope.
Exactly! The UA-cam reactor is incorrect. Being Intersex by birth is not a scandal. I fail to understand why some people have issues with the last 10 minutes of CONCLAVE. The cardinal at the end is INTERSEX by BIRTH, He looks male, is male but also has a uterus. My neighbors 10 yr daughter was born INTERSEX. Her daughter appears female but has no ovaries and no uterus. She will never be pregnant, and never have a menstrual cycle. Her mom hopes extra estrogen will allow her to at least have her body initiate puberty, but her future is unknown. She could end up a grown adult, within the body shape of a pre-pubescent person forever. My neighbor was afraid, that I would be afraid of my daughter being friends with her daughter. I told her no worries. Our children are good friends, and my daughter has learned that sometimes gender itself might not be typical. In the movie Conclave, the cardinal who is intersex, has a different issue, his body appears male. He always assumed he was male, until in his 30’s an appendix removal surgery shocked him with the reveal that in addition to having fully functional male genitalia the Conclave movie character also had a uterus and ovaries (no fallopian tubes) in his torso. He never had breasts and had developed as a man, to the point of his appendix being removed. The movie character was just as surprised as the doctor who removed his appendix, about his odd gender reality From my own point of view, I thought this movie was FANTASTIC! The Intersex birth defect where some genitalia fails to develop, and the individual presents as a single gender; or the more rare complicated situation. where a child is born with internal genitalia parts of both male and female, which may, or more likely, may not be fully present, is a challenge to explain. My neighbor’s daughter underwent a full body scan upon turning 10, to make sure she did not have undeveloped male genitalia in her body. She thinks of herself as a girl, even though she is lacking, since birth, a uterus and ovaries. Physically, she biologically appears to be a 10yr female. Her Chromosomes are Xo. Part of one of her two X chromosomes broke and the two ends of the broken X portions bent and became joined to form a ring. She got lucky. The portion that broke off was small enough that she is still genetically female (XX) but with the additional broken-off “o” part. If More had broken off, of that one X chromosome she would have developed as a Boy with (XY) genetics, and would have developed male genitalia, but may have been sterile. The cardinal Character in ConClave is a characterization of the very Rare (Xo-XY) situation. He presents as male, his body developed as a male, he went through Male Puberty, but his body also had a uterus, and ovaries from birth without his knowledge or awareness, though the ovaries had no fallopian tube connection, he never ovulated, and no breasts ever developed. The point of the end of the movie is, he is, simply himself, and because of having his appendix removed in his 30’s, he then became aware that he is a male but also partially female. Technically he is partly both genders, which the character knows to be odd, but it is, this character’s reality, in the movie, and that should help the Character to have empathy and compassion as he follows the path ahead in his life. I will be showing this movie to my 9yr daughter. I know what her reaction to the end will be. (I.e., “Hey mom and dad”, “The cardinal guy in the end, is just like my friend, only older, with a different group missing or extra private parts, and he ended up looking male. Wow, I’m glad movies are acknowledging that people like my friend are real people.”). Then my daughter will just continue doing whatever she was doing, before the movie. I think this is a great movie, to assist people in understanding that life is not binary. (Black/white, or good/bad, or Just Male/Just Female, … etc.,) People are complicated. Often the best people to lead, are people who do not desire leadership, but are capable when they need to lead, because they care that everyone survives, and they put others first.
@@mythicdolphin Thank you for your input, I read it all the way. The movie was great, especially with such an impressive cast. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d enjoy it because of the premise, but it surprised me. I was just highlighting that it could cause a scandal if people found out, which is likely why Cardinal Lawrence and even the late pope kept it a secret. They probably realized the church would struggle to accept it.:)
@edgardonieves5158 I’m looking for your comment, I can’t find it 😢
If you remember that scene in Skye's house where she's chased by many people, then she gets a hand down her throat, that should be the moment where everything is happening only in Skye's head (the hospital, driving the car, the freezer). Before that, it's mixed reality, as you've mentioned. After the throat thing, the Smile demon is under control, until she becomes lucid again, finding herself on the stage. Then the demon takes over completely and kills her. Indeed, the ending was quite something. I am curious if they'll do a Smile 3 where the demon takes over many people at once.
Mmm... but didn't she see her best friend before that chasing dancer scene? It's actually tricky if you dig deep. I think it all starts from the moment she went to bed after witnessing the death, not sure.
@@CinemaMikey Yes, she starts hallucinating after the death scene, her best friend was definitely not there. But she was actually in her room and stuff like that, until that 'hand down her throat' scene. That was the moment she blacked out and then she become lucid again on the stage. Every scene in-between was just in her mind. As the demon says before she becomes lucid 'This isn't real', something like that. :D
I've watched both movies recently. I don't know, Mike. I think the first Smile movie was slightly better. I think Sosie Bacon as Rose played the part better. I actually believed her and felt her going insane, being tormented and stuff. Naomi Scott as Skye wasn't quite there. I didn't really believe her when she looked scared, panicked and stuff. Also, her screaming moments looked kind of forced. Maybe I expected too much of this movie because I liked the first one. I also kind of expected to see a story of Joel, but they did him dirty in like 5 minutes. :))) Smile is a 7-8 for me, while Smile 2 is like a 6-7.
True, they did Joel dirty. The actor was really good in Strange Darling. In hindsight, I kinda get what you're saying about Sosie Bacon's acting-less hysterical than Naomi's. They are two different characters: one’s a therapist, the other’s a deranged pop star addict. I like both characters. I guess Smile 2 felt more fast-paced for me, with a bigger budget. But I didn’t like the ending, since I predicted it.
@@CinemaMikey I don't know, for me Smile 2 was more slow-paced. :)) I guess we can't agree on everything, everyone likes the same movie in different quantities. :D
@Ynook I can’t really remember the first smile tbh, haha only tidbits. But I remembered that Smile caught me off guard, a good surprise.
@@CinemaMikey That scene after Rose fell through the table, when she started screaming, with shards in her hands, was pretty awesome and believable. :D
@Ynook I agree, if you look closely, her legs were choreographed so awkwardly when she fell. Hands down to that scene.
The real burning question is who is Barron's father? It sure isn't Donald.
haha when I was reading this, I was like, did I say Barron? You got me. Nice one.

@@Mattteus really, I just googled it online. Didn’t know it was from the 80’s.
Haha, i didnt realise the boys were both around the same age. Very Good Spot 👍
Right? The writers might have missed it. Have you watch the new gladiator? Is it any good?
I saw this movie and it was okay. A bit suicidal trying to go down there but I understand what need to be done. Basic movie that wont get any Oscar nominee or anything but it was ok. I know one thing for sure, I will not go down there where those things are lurking around in the dark.
It’s alright; the CGI was bad. It’s a simple plot, but they could have made it more entertaining.
@@CinemaMikey Sound like you want the monsters to kill them off to speed the movie so it can be over?
@ haha I was so sleepy watching this movie, but was able to finish it. 😂
@@CinemaMikey I can understand that. First and last time watching that movie right.
Spoiler: there is no monster. In a behind the scenes video there was an interview with Halle Berry and she said that she liked the "generational trauma".
@@ccatarinajm7114 ohhhh generational trauma is a good explanation.🤔
The main character was so unlikeable that I couldn’t really care what happened to her. The jump scares had me jumping, though. 😂😂😂 When the dancers were in her house it was creepy and hilarious.
@@user-xd6nc6rg7b I actually liked that scene with the dancers, it was funny but crazy creepy. It was creative.
I think it’s weird that anyone thinks this movie is deep. Mormons get their faith challenged by psychopathic evil aThEiSt, and prove him wrong and keep their faith. It’s Christian wish fulfillment. Cartoonish atheist villain vs human sympathetic cult members.
I think what I was trying to say, especially on the first half, that it’s trying to explain a lot. Like it’s trying to build a story based on religion. Did you liked it?
Hi. Have you watched The Boogeyman (2023)? :D
No. Is it good?
@@CinemaMikey I've watched it twice. It's one of the best horror movies in the recent years, in my opinion. I totally recommend it, if you find the time. :D
