Well, I have finally released something thats over 1 minute (yay :D). I really want to thank Sparkles, wouldn't be possible without you man :). I spent a lot of time on this, and learned a bunch of new things along the way. The edit is dedicated to a friend (Riko Kaspar Madisson a.k.a Defuzahh), who died in a car crash earlier this year, rest in peace my friend. At the end of the clip it says its rendered with Unreal Engine 4, and its true, most who've been asking me if I rendered in Cinema4D, and I said yes, have been pretty much lied to (sorry guys). Don't get too confused about this tho, because 90% of the edit was done in Cinema4D and Unreal Engine 4 was basically only used to render with. I would like to thank all of the people who were involved in this project more or less, that being: Sparkles, R.I.Pieces, maro, kosta, sacky, FLXD, bleinkz, dakine, FLM, NAXIU, jnsz, rockit and bky. Hope you enjoyed :).

Time, practice, trail and error and creativity are a few right off the top of my head. This edit is by far one of the best edits I've seen and for the purpose it serves, it is beautiful. If Riko could see this he would be overwelmed just by the time spent on creating this masterpeice. Its amazing what one single person can influence in this world.

And before retards start crying about how edits aren't supposed to show the frags and show the editor's editing skill instead: A good editor makes it so that you can actually see what's happening in the video while making it look good. Applying so many effects and particles that you can't see anything beyond the gun viewmodel isn't good editing.

A good editor achieves what they want to. A bad editor can only imitate an idea.

did you export the csgo scenes (models/animations) to cinema4d or another rendering engine? this is amazing, when I used to edit i dreamed about this but lacked the technical knowledge
no way you just commented... holy shit its fucking sin1ster, and yea the csgo scenes are exported to blender and then to c4d(only player ones) and the viewmodel ones are just straight to c4d, both of them are then exported to ue4 for rendering. if u ever decide to make an edit with these exported players/maps/weapons, hit me up i will be happy to help you in any way possible

How fuze did this:
1) Get the camera + character motion from HLAE.
2) Import that into Cinema 4D.
3) Use Blender to get the models + maps from CS:GO and convert it to an FBX file (Using Blender Source Tools)
4) Import the models and attach them to the corresponding bones imported from HLAE.
5) Make it look good by changing the textures, adding models, etc.
6) Use Houdini to add the cool effects (Smoke, Water, Etc)
7) Import the final file to UnrealEngine4 (Not sure how this is done, I would just render + animate the final file in Maya cause the Arnold renderer is alot better imo and it would be alot faster)
8) Render this, and put the final rendered video into After Effects.
9) Add any other kind of cool effect (Camera motions, colour grading)
10) Render this, put in each clip that you rendered with After Effects in Sony Vegas for final touches like text, etc.
Blue Storm So do the ragdolls also get imported, because they look just like how ragdolls fall in the game

apparently it takes super long to render csgo in unreal 4... some guy did it a while back and it took extremely long to render 1-10 frames
Fuse said realtime he got about 10 fps on a 980 I think which is pretty impressive seeing as all the lights are dynamic etc. However the mirage frag was really unoptimized and he only got about 1 when looking at the floor. I don't think we would be playing stuff like this realtime but hardware is improving really rapidly
