Noticed you mentioned a Quadrajet, just like some of these chainsaw carbs, when they are right you cant beat em, but when they are not, it can get ugly! Great content buddy, love the videos.
Is sdc 74 metering arm supposed to be set level with the bridges on either side? Rebuilt one and the saw starts fine with mix in throat but dies instantly once it burns through that gas...and metering arm side of carb is almost dry with the other side soaked in gas...
@@stanleybennett8879 I just checked the product and looks like it's designed to hold fuel etc but i dont have any experience with it. I hope Leon to give you an answer to that. But using it inside a tank its kinda different than using it on a carb... dunno if it works there. Imhao, best choice if you have a damaged carb is to replace it, if you can.
Thanks Leon. I look forward to trying it out.
Always a good video sir thank u

How do you get the friction ball to stay when you install the choke?
I have 3 SDC homelite 62 carbs with bad check valves. Can you do a video up nice and close on replacing check valves?

Where did you get the tester.
I here super glue will work to seal a plug in a carb what do you think ?Thanks Love your channel!
Where exactly is that plug? On the carburetor body? In cany case, i dont think any kind of glue can stand the fuel for too long.
@@primarchxi6639 What about red kote gas tank liner!

@@primarchxi6639 Thanks guys!
I have seven extra HDC carbs for Homelites, all with bad check valves. The saws aren't worth what the check valves cost..
Do you want to part with those 6 carbs? I would love to have them
