Good job Leon, your analysis is spot on. I watch all of your videos and i always learn something new. A 2 stroke motor seems simple, however when a problem arises that separates the men from the boys. There is a rabbit hole of complexity between the carb, ignition, fuel air ratio, air leaks, bad diaphragms, high low settings, etc that keep us shade tree mechanics going crazy. Do you ever use any kind of sealant when putting those welch plugs back?
My local lawnmower shop said to use nail polish. It worked.

I have a walbro carb on an engine and on idle ten rpm drops to tickover and then it raises slight after about 2 seconds got any ideas
