Amen!! Great words! It is important for woman to work on them! So many people jump from relationship to relationship and don't know who they are. A relationship/ marriage should be an addition, not a completion. We need to face and conquer past demons from trauma. We need to get whole BEFORE marriage.
“what you want is not always what you need.” amen. reminds me of when got destroyed Lot’s town and an angel told him to go to the mountains but Lot was afraid because he believed the mountain would be destroyed alongside the town. so he requested to stay in a village and the angel granted his wish, but Lot soon discovered that the people of the village scared him and so he left for the mountains with his 2 daughters. if we listen to God and submit ourselves to him, life will go so smoothly and blessings will come without delay.
Love the definition of submission you gave: sub = under, mission = purpose. Not a doormat, but joining with a person's mission in life

In the bible God tells us to test all things and once we begin to actually study Gods word He will help us and we will be able to discern what is true and what is not. I have my vision down on paper that God gave to me through seeking him. God has directed my path to a different church. I'm praying for his will to be done in my life. I was miserably married to a Christian man that I met in church and he even became adeacon .Let me tell you that just because he’s a Christian and everything seems right is no guarantee. I prayed over that marriage for 28 years and finally left. I do not want Christian women to think that just because he’s a Christian means he will treat you well or that you’ll be happy. It’s not.
