Sound instruction & advice, Mimo. Some movements (especially newer designs) don't have a danger zone for the date quick-set, but unless you know for sure, the best thing is to assume the 9-3 danger zone applies (or 8-4 to be more careful), and yes even for analog quartz. I also avoid hand-winding my automatics and I would prefer that they didn't hand-wind at all. Some automatics tolerate it better than others, but it's still a good rule to let the automatic module do its thing *and* be gentle when screwing down the crown (as normally you're winding the watch when you do that). I think it was Philippe Dufour I heard this from first (to avoid handwinding automatics) so you're in good company giving that advice, Mimo. 👍
The new Seiko isn't worth the money, the reason I got a Seiko in the first place is to save money while getting a quality product. That's not the case at the moment.
Lmao every guy now has this opinion, lol they don't even realize that "old seiko prices" were actually greymarket prices. The dressy seiko 5 that I bought years ago as a present was like 80 bucks but the msrp from seiko was like 350$ similar to the new 5snkx models.
Good info! Thanks Mimo!
Mimo’s Jewelry is my go to for G-Shock, Hamilton and Seiko’s.
Picked up a Khaki King today, good seeing you again, Mimo!

I want to get a Seiko, and I have wanted to for a long time. QC and price have kept me away.
I respect your opinion.and everyone's opinion.
I will be answering this in a future video.
