You are the best man...Ive been watching your videos for years but was too stubborn to get a radar detector. I went from getting 3-4 speeding tickets a year to 0 since I got my Beltronic V6(*knocks on wood*). I just bought my smart cord and will be doing this install soon in my A4.
Does the add a circuit stop the accessory from working? As in, once you installed that in your truck, did it take the power away from the radio and send it to the radar detector?
Hi!, So I did exactly what you have done but my issue is the red light alert on a smartcord is always on, red. Everything else works fine and when I use my normal coiled charger it's fine as well. I used cigarette lighter fuse not the radio. You have any idea what I am doing wrong?

It does fit the valentine one to make it work, but you cant chance modes nor get into the programming

ebay sells direct wire with inbuilt fuse. do i still need a out of circuit ?
