I used to put to put my entire foot on the panel, even now i still do this. As for now, i try to learn this technique but my toe still misses the panel a lot, but i can see that i preserve the stamina little by little. Thanks for the tutorial man
FRRRR like at Round1 these kids were stomping on it so hard and then the game wasn’t even in the arcade anymore after that I was so heartbroken… I really liked pump it up infinity. Had a whole variety of songs and everything
Aka, play like you're absolutely tired and exhausted. Use your feet as if you're lazy and don't want to move. Unless you have to (crossovers, twists, etc.... however, you can learn to cheat these in many ways too. But knowing the fundamentals of them is key).
I mean, I feel like heel and toe is generally a universal role for intermediate players onwards to converse stamina overtime, it should be focused all the time via muscle memory and not really based on situation imo but I think I understand where you're coming from with double stepping crossovers which I agree at the higher levels
Wtf is this coincidence... i've been on a stepmania tear for the past few months, and decided i wanted to get into PIU. Also started watching a lot of hell's kitchen lately, and then to see the end of this video just had me trippin LOL
Wow man, I today can play doubles lv 20, 21 and sometimes D22, but I have the same problem. So, I go to play doubles lv 17, lv 18 and lv 19 to safe my stamina and get more accuracy, etc. It's true always play D23 it will burn your stamina (and hurt your body).
i don't join any PIU community, just learning by myself and i just learned that in indonesia there's a term called matic. i don't know if you guys have it, but can you do a tips on sightreading on matic pattern? *it usually goes by ↙️↖️↔️↗️↘️ or somethin
@@PundyPIU ohh i see , i started 3 weeks ago and im at s15-16 rn , passed 86 full song with broken A today its still very hard. I think i try to learn this method :D
what if the pad is slippery :( cus the arcade in my place is very slippery and I can only play barefoot. but if I play with shoes or socks it gets really slippery and hard to control
wipe the pads via sprayway or w/paper towels socks are generally slippery and aren't great for control, in that case shoes or skinners would be a better alternative
small feet make it a little bit harder for heel and toe distance but I have small feet and this concept applies to any feet size, the thing behind you is the bar, as you said it's used for balance
@@redghost2118from my experience, a lot of S12-S14 have plenty of twists. If you can do the twists, you can try cheating the patterns at this level by heel and toeing it. Im my experience though, I hated doing twists so I just skipped to lv 15 somehow 😂 but hey, it's been a year. How's the progress?
penny mod, there are guides online 2 pennies each panel I did, inner sides/corners most used zones. In total I used 10 and I believe some copper tape too, regular tape should work fine too

Physical stamina and reading are the 2 major aspects of what makes pump so challenging! So improving form is critical :) no worries glad it helped
Caution: This may or may not work if the pad has been used by children before.
and rough players (+ players with boots for some reason)
@@celestynairlinesas a player using boots. I would like to say Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
@@jenniferbayani1862 boots (worker boots or others) are too heavy and may cause damage to the pads
As a 11 yo girl I would.... Uhhh

I prefer to use my stamina to get the maximum possible exercise.

stair? just keep playing and alternate your feet, at higher levels people cheat them by pattern manipulation. Look at 4199's video on cheating

i would love to join the discord but the link has expired?
what if you have very good stamina ?
If you already have good stamina, heel and toe builds off of that foundation which allows for longer play sessions
