There are few things in the video I might've not been specific enough so I will leave them here:
The softpad can seriously range in quality imo. I have used 3. My personal one was the best easily playing beyond S20+s, one from school funds was in the middle (middle sensitivity fine for 18s) and other from cousins was really poor (I struggled on 14s). I'm not sure if it's due to the built quality but I know surfaces can defnitely make a big difference. I think something like EVA foam would work on the softpad much better when compared to fabric capret flooring.
Also BTW, I want to make it clear that LTEK PIU pads aren't the same in function when compared to LTEK. Do not use this video and directly base LTEK's DDR pads with Pump one's as while they perform similar with contact based sensors, I've seen overall much more positive reviews for 4 panel.
